After seeing what was in the textbook, I walked back up towards the receptionist counter.

[One moment pleae.] I called for the receptionist.

“Do you have a question?” She asked me.

“The contents of the book are rather difficult, but I suppose I could help you a little.” She said as I shook my head.

[No need, I was coming to ask if I am able to take the test now?] I questioned.

“Oh, the test? In that case… What?! You just showed up out of nowhere and only read the textbook for the first time right now!” She shouted as I sweat dropped.

Soon a man came out of the door behind her.

“Why are you yelling? What’s going on here?” He asked her.

“Ah, no… It’s just that he wants to take the test…”She trailed as the man stared at me.

“Hm? In that case, just prepare the paperwork and send her to the exam room. I doubt anyone else will come to take the test today, so let’s just start.” He told her.

“But…”She trailed.

“Then, I’ll go prepare the exam.” He said going back through the door.

The receptionist could only look at mw sweat dropping as she held some papers in hand.

“Um… here’s your paper for the test… Good luck…” She said making me giggle as I patted her head despite our minor height difference.

[Your concern is appreciated.] I responded.

-Small Time Skip-

I was now in the exam room as I was gazing over the textbook for some moments now.

‘Hm knowing what I can and cannot sell will come in handy if I need something later on.’ I thought as I closed the book and placed it on the table.

Opening up my system I gazed at my current status.

‘Hm, It’s been a couple of days since I trained properly… I should probably do that to get more accustomed to my new and old abilities.’ I thought.

“Sorry for the wait. Don’t turn over your test sheet until the exam begins.” He said placing the papers on my table.

“Oh, I’ll hold onto your textbook during the exam. You may begin!” He said as I nodded and went ahead with working on the test.

Looking at the questions on it, I could only sigh.

‘As I thought, there’s not many questions related to the memorized things.’ I thought as I quickly finished those problems off and moved to the math problems which was just grade school math.

Finishing those off easily, I simply raised my hand to call for the examiner.

[I’m finished] I told him shocking him greatly.

“The timer is barely halfway through! Even if she skipped the difficult ones…”He trailed only to look more in shock as he looked at my paper.

“Hold on a minute.” He told me as I nodded.

He then started to grade the paper infront of me making me sweat drop when I saw his disbelief expression.

“Y….You’ve passed…”He said sounding rather upset which I just shrugged at.

“This is the first time I’ve heard of anyone getting a perfect score in such a short time… It’s a miracle…”He said as raised a brow.

‘This is a miracle?’ I thought confused since the math was very easy.

[A/N:I hate and despise math by the way, screw you numbers!]

‘I guess education here isn’t the high or often. It is like a medieval era so that’s to be expected.’ I thought.

“The second part of the test is obtaining some materials. Take a ball out of this box.” He told me as I nodded and did such.

Obtaining a ball with a weird pattern on it.

“Hm! That pattern…” The examiner said as stared at the small ball before moving to a nearby bookshelf.

“…Here it is.” He said pulling out a book as I watched curiously.

“Ride Crystals, Maze Forma, Illuminatsuki and Howl fang. You will need to bring these 4 items…” He told making me raise brow.

‘That receptionist fron before explained that Howl Fangs are the hardest to collect… this may be a bit troublesome now.’ I thought.

“Or something of equal or greater value in the next 3 day… You got really unlucky Miss. Unless you hire some level 50 or higher Adventurers, you won’t be able to obtain these items.” He told me making me raise a brow.

‘Level 50? Wait this might not be so troublesome actually.’ I thought.

[So wait? I can bring things worth as much or for equal value to pass?] I asked.

“…You can, but I imagine that would be even harder.” He answered making me smile under my mask.

‘Easy then.’ I thought rembering the valuable parts I have from the arrangement with Toa and the others.

I quickly went off out the store so that I could go into a nearby alleyway which I then immediately pulled out the loot from before, along with my one of my Ruby Eyes.

‘This should all be good enough.’ I thought as I started to make my way there.

Entering back inside I came to see the receptionist again.

[Once again, I thank you for earlier.] I greeted.

“Hm? Did you forget something?” She asked me as I shook my head and brought the materials onto the counter.

[No, I have came with some items, that I think may be able to complete the second part.] I told her making her shocked.

“What?!” She questioned.

“What are you yelling about this time?!” The examiner from before shouted as he came out the backrooms again.

He quickly noticed me as I stood at the counter.

“You again miss? What is it? Did you decide to give up?” He asked as I shook my head in decline.

[I’ve brought in some items that are worth more than those on thr sheet.] I told him though I don’t he registered my words until later.

“While that is a wise choice. At least give it some tim…. Wait, what?! Listen here, these kind of items are rar….”He trailed as he noticed what I had laid out.

“The eye and organ of a Red Eye… and a size ant’s fang?! And several other items that can only be collected of you’re over level 100?!” He shouted completely shocked.

‘Maybe I brought in more items then I actually needed.’ I thought sweat dropping.

“Where did you get these?!” He asked me.

[A party with a person named Toa gave them to me as thanks for letting them ride through the wasteland in my cart.] I answered telling the half truth as I didn’t think it was beneficial to me if they knew I helped kill such creatures.

“They gave you such valuable items in exchange for riding a cart?! Unbelievable!” He said as I shrugged.

[If you don’t believe me, They told me the last time we met that they already sold of they’re shares. Can’t you guys check for that?] I asked.

“Now that I think about it… there are definitely records of valuable materials being brought in between yesterday and this morning. They we’re traded and brought to the material sorting center…”The receptionist said showing him the book filled with notes.

“They’re so many valuable materials… So is this just part of that?” He asked.

[Yes.]I answered simply.

“Ugh… So she was connected to such brilliant adventurers…” He trailed speaking more to himself then me.

“…Congratulations, you’ve passed. This is the first time someone had managed to get a perfect score on the written exam and then pass the second test on the same day…really….”He trailed sounding more upset about the whole thing then anything else.

[That’s sounds awesome.] I replied.

“Be happier!” He told me as I just sweat dropped.

[Yay! I’m the first…] I said as he just sighed.

“…We’ll be closing soon so, your card should be ready tomorrow. Handle the paperwork for it.” He told the receptionist as he walked back to the back downtrodden.

I just sweat dropped at this situation since it seems my passing really hit him hard for some reason.

“Congratulations on passing! You even got a perfect score on the written exam! I’m honestly surprised.” She told me as I just shrugged.

‘Seems her opinion of me rose higher.’ I thought.

“Don’t worry about the examiner, he’s just that you passed so easily.” She told me with a smile as I nodded at her words.

“Here is the form fot joining the guild. You’ll need to get your guild card before you can fill out the form for registering your own company.” She explained as I nodded.

“What will you do about the initial deposit and yearly fee?” She asked me as I pulled out a pouch of gold from my cleveage.

[If I’m correct the initial deposit is 10 gold coins while the fee is 1 right? I’ll just pay it all now.] I told her as I placed 11 gold coins on the counter surprising her.

“All 11 gold coins? With your grades and existing funds, you’ll be able to grow your company to the size of the Rembrant Company in no time!” She said as I raised a brow.

[Just how big is the Rembrant Company?] I asked.

“Everyone in this town knows about it! While it’s been smooth sailing for them lately, They really struggle to get this far.” She said as I nodded and began to fill out the forms as I could feel that this was about to turn into a story time.

And just like I thought I was right.

As it turns out Patrick wasn’t as big as he was now. When he arrived the big league running the show was the Hanza company. The president of the Hanza company started watching over the Rembrant Company and found a heavy intrest in it to the point where he wanted to marry his daughter off to Patrick. But she was already in a relationship with a craftsman of the company.

[A/N: Not gonna lie…. I’m skipping this story telling stuff sorry! Even the anime doesn’t show it. 🤣😭]

After I was done filling out all the forms I gave to the receptionist.

[Here you go, all filled out.] I told her handing her the papers before she could go into another story.

“Oh, okay. There don’t seem to be any issues.” She said as I nodded and started to make my way out.

“Your card will be ready tomorrow, so please come by then.” She told as I nodded and continued out.

When I was outside I looked up into the sky seeing that it was getting dark.

“It’s getting pretty late currently…” I said as I stared up at sky thinking about the story the receptionist told me about.

‘Hm, The story feels very deep, but I feel like there’s more to it then the public knows… Whatever it doesn’t matter currently…’ I thought as I have more important things then investigating my current acquaintance.

“…I should go get something to eat. Mio should atleast be getting done by now, but if not I’ll bring her something or feed her my magic… Hopefully Tomoe contacts me soon.” I said speaking to myself as it’s been a while since I heard from the drama watching Dragon.

Walking down the streets I could only sigh

‘Well whatever she’ll contact me if needed.’
