Chapter 6

Emma and I were sitting at he counter, reading the latest newspaper. Surprise, surprise, we are on the front page “Your so called drunk driving can not be that big of a deal to land on the front page does nothing exciting happen in this town” I said. I hear footsteps coming towards looking up I see Ruby the waitress bring over a cup of hot chocolate with cream and cinnamon on top. 

We looked up at her confused on why she brought us it “neither of us ordered that,” Emma said. Looking all smiley Ruby replies, “You have an admirer.” We look behind us to see none other than the stupid cop who arrested us. Emma decides to walk over to him to talk to him, I roll my eyes at this and follow her over. “Well, well look who decided to stay,” said he replies.  “Oh, goodie look Emma he’s eyes work, but then again he might need to get them checked since he cant tell the difference between a drunk and a sober person,” I replied clapping with a fake smile on my face. 

Emma punches me in the shoulder and tells me to play nice. I mean was I not being nice, I was giving be advice worried for dear Sheriff hear. “I see we are still holding a grudge about your little arrest,” he said with that stupid smirk on his face. “Listen hear you piece of-Emma cuts me off, “Look sheriff no trouble the cocoa was a nice offer and I’m impressed that you guessed I like cinnamon on my chocolate, cause most people don’t but I’m not here to flirt so thanks but no thanks.” 

Emma puts the cup right in front of him but I take it back up, she gives me a questioning look. “What its hot chocolate, I’m not just going to waste it cause it came from inspector gadget over here,” I replied with a smile on my face happy for the free drink. My rolls here eyes at me and directs here stuff to the sheriff when he says he didn’t send it. 

“I did,” some one replies. We look over to see Henry with his uniform approaching us.” Don’t have school?” Emma says. “If your mom finds you here that’s going to get all of us in trouble,” I added. 

“Of course I’m not skipping school, the evil queen would kill me. Now come on I want you to walk with me to the bus,” he replies. Leaving through the front without seeing If were following him. “Emma you should walk with him , I not going to risk running into Regina,” I said.

Why not didn’t you say that she said I could last night,”she says. I scratch the back of my head.”I know what she but we still don’t know her terms so I think its best that we not get seen by Regina until then. I’m not saying you shouldn’t walk Henry just be aware of your surroundings,” I said. Henry walks through the doors of the dinner to check on us “Why are you guys taking so long hurry up,” he says impatiently. “Hey kid only Emma’s walking with you I’m going to hang with a friend today,” I said. Henry looks sad for moment but realizes that at least one of us is going with “Ok have fun come on Emma,” he said dragging her through the door. I walk over to Ruby asking her If I could have another hot chocolate with cinnamon to go, having a feeling that Ingrid might like hot chocolate the same way.
