Mio had taken Mio off of my lap as she began to clean the bleeding off of Tomoe’s head.

‘What is happening?! Mio and I are the only ones here actually capable of hurting Tomoe.’ I thought with a blank expression as I stared at Tomoe intently watching her slowly rising chest along with listening to her heartbeat.

‘Wait a minute, she said something about those 3…. was she talking about the adventurers?!’ I thought.

Soon Emma came in rushing.

“Young Miss! What was that explosion just now? And that mana…” She trailed.

“Emma, where are the forest ogres currently?” I asked her.

“They returned to their village since it was getting dark. Madam offshot then headed to the area of the explosion… she went to check on the area of the city in the fog, and I can’t reach her with Telepathy…” She told me making my eyes narrow as I heard my little one was over where the explosion was.

It was then I rembered that Tomoe is connected to the little one.

“…It’s probably because of Tomoe collapsing.” I said as an conclusion though I couldn’t help, but feel that something was off.

“Madam Tomoe collapsed?! What happened?!” Emma questioned in shock.

“I don’t know, but it has something to do with the explosion so I’ll go check there for now.” I told them.

“Emma, I want you and Mio to take care of Tomoe. Lich, your coming with me.” I told them.

“Lich? Is that person…” Emma trailed.

“I am-” I cut Shiki off as we didn’t have time for introduction.

“Yes, he was that Lich, but now he’s one of us. I explain more in detail later.” I told her as she nodded.

“Very well.” Emma said as I nodded and glanced at Lich.

“Let’s go, Lich.” I told him.

“I will treat her to the best of my abilities. Please be careful.” Emma said as I nodded and went off.

Sprinting out the house, I was about to head over to the location when.

‘…Mistress Aria.‘ I suddenly heard making me pause as I wasn’t expecting telepathy..

‘What’s wrong Lich, did something happen?‘ I asked him.

‘My apologies, but as I’m not used to a body of flesh, I cannot run properly.‘ He told me making me sigh.

‘Can you atleast wind Magic to float around like use too?‘ I asked him as continued my sprint towards the location.

‘Indeed, I can, However, there are a number of wounded individuals in the direction your heading. Would you permit me to use the mana that floating around would require to instead begin healing them?‘ He asked me.

‘I see some had gotten caught in the blast… wait, healing, your able to use healing magic?’ I asked him.

‘Hm? Yes, I can use it. I’m pretty good with it.‘ He told me making me sigh as I sped up.

‘Then if you can do it from there, please do.‘ I told him.

‘Understood, I will cast healing magic over the area where the injured are.‘ He told me as I nodded.

‘I need to hurry.’ I thought as I jumped up in air and used Sky Magic to propel me through the air.

Soon stopping as I entered the area needed.

Landing on the ground, I landed next to a madly wounded Orc.

‘What happened here?’ I questioned as I activated a healing realm over the area.

It when that I heard a noise.

Turning around, I placed my eyes on a child Orc crying her eyes out as she sat next to something similar to a pupa.

‘Wa-Wait… don’t tell me..’ I thought as I stared at the pupa and smelled the scent only to have my eyes widen.

“Hokuto?!” I said in shock as I rushed to the Alkey’s side.

“Hokuto, what happened?! Why aren’t regenerating?!” I questioned him as I began to listen to his body.

‘He’s not breathing…’I thought as I then touched his skin and it felt cold, I could barely feel blood flowing in him…

‘…Th-this can’t be… This feeling… I can remember it…’ I thought as I had flashbacks to when I had puppy.

Father had bought it for me as a birthday present when I was younger… I named him Orion cause he came to me when the constellation showed most.

We we’re like best friends, and as time went on we got even closer, but unexpectedly while we playing in the forest we encountered a Asiatic Black Bear… I tried to battle it, but the bear was stronger and faster than me despite my training at the time… so when the bear was going to strike me down, Orion showed his power as he attacked the bear. Despite his smaller size he was able to put on considerable amount of damage on the bear, but that didn’t stop it as it had grabbed Orion by the neck with it maw and started to chew.

I could do nothing, but stare as Orion slowly died infront of me… with it’s last breath being a small cry

After killing Orion, the bear was about to go for me, but father quickly killed it without it even being able to retaliate.

“Bear Witnes Aria, As What You Are Feeling Now Is The Pain Of Lost, The Pain Of Death, The Pain Of Being Weak. Orion Is Dead.” His words rung through my head.

‘N-No, No, No! I got so much stronger! I got stronger so this wouldn’t happen again! Thi-‘ I was cut off.

‘Miss Aria!‘ Lich’s telepathy reached me making my thoughts get cut off.

‘Huh?’ I thought.

‘The other’s have gotten through the worst of it, now it’s just that person near you who had suffered the worst wounds.‘ He said making my eyes widen.

‘He’s still alive?!’ I said as hope came back into my eyes.

‘I will focus my healing magic on that person, so please add your Magic on top!‘ He told me as my eyes narrowed.

‘I can’t use healing magic! No matter how much I want to it just won’t let me!’ I thought as Dragon Slayer, Demon Slayer and even my other abilities won’t allow me to heal with them despite having the ability and skill to do so.

‘Fuck it, I’ll dispell my concealing Sakai and Use Both Sakai’s on healing him.’ I thought as instantly my power flared a bit while I focused the healing soly on him.

After a couple of seconds I still didn’t receive any response.

‘Nothing…Lich is there anything else you can do‘ I asked him.

‘This is my best! If you are fine with it, I can ignore the rest of the wounded-‘He said making me cut him off.

‘No! Keep just keep doing what you can do for now. I’ll figure something out.‘ I told him as I then quickly opened my system and searched for healing only for the system to deny it.

Seeing such I punched the ground with enough force to crack it severely.

‘What do you mean I don’t meet the requirement?! I need to heal him!’ I thought as the systems response still didn’t change.

I growled in annoyance as I dismissed the system and looked at my hands.

‘Is there really nothing I can do…? Is everything… around me supposed to get hurt and die…’ I thought as I was about to punch the ground once again, but stopped when I felt something.

It was like a connection was lit inside my soul and it was begging for me to use it.

Reaching inside of my inventory, I pulled out one of my Zanpakutos. The one that usually glows with a white golden light.

Currently the light on the sword was glowing more brighter than usual making me stare at it.

‘…I hope this works.’ I thought as I stood up from the ground and unsheathed the blade.

Twirling the blade a bit, I planted it’s tip in the ground and breathed as I waited for the instructions in my head to come. For the feelings of understanding to hit me.

“Mend and And Break The World At Your Pleasure… Reiki Kutsuki!” I shouted as immediately the glow on my sword brighted as it’s shine began to spread throughout the ground.

Traveling towards Hokuto first as it then branched off to other sections where the wounded was located.

I watched as the golden light made the gloomy darkness go away as it illuminated everything in it’s path.

‘Miss Aria! What is going on over there?! Everyone is healing so quickly and that massive mana!’ Lich said as I was about to answer when suddenly some systems notifications popped up.

Seeing the final text box, I didn’t even pay it any mind. I didn’t care if I couldn’t heal myself. Just being able to heal those I care for and consider friends and love ones is enough for me.

‘Why is my mana even here? I don’t think awaking Shikai left all of this.’ I thought as I then looked down at the ground and noticed some pieces of Draupnirs chains on the ground.

“Y-Yong Mis…” A young Orc girl squeezed out as she held out a necklace towards me while trying to control her crying.

Seeing this I gently accepted the torn necklace as I let the Young Orc get comforted by one of my tails at my side.

Staring at the necklace I noticed it was familiar.

“Isn’t this the necklace of one of the Orcs working in The City In The Mist?” I questioned as the Orc girl let go of my tail still sniffling as she pointed to a specific spot.

“He was over there with Madam offshot. They were telling the humans to stop…” She told me making my eyes narrow as I could tell she was talking about the adventurers.

“Miss Aria! I’m sorry to keep you waiting! All the wounded are healed except the one infront of you. His condition will need time to heal.” Lich told me.

“Madam Tomoe has yet to regain consciousness, but her condition has stabilized. Madam Mio is currently looking after her… huh?” Emma said as I softy gave her the Orcs necklace before standing up.

“Emma, Lich, Take care of things here and move everyone away so they can get a proper check up.” I told them before starting to head off ignoring their calls for me as I rushed and decided to test my new skill flash step to get to the location the Orc girl was pointing at.

You happened to survive thanks to the little one’s barrier and that clay aegis. While a gate just so happened to open, allowing you to escape.” I said going over events as I could feel my power flaring more and more with each word.

“Was it a miracle? The will of the heavens? Or that brat’s way of fucking with me? Who knows, it’s all a farce. You have some really ridiculous luck.” I told her as I got more closer to her.

With my eyes glowing, I stared at her frightened expression before she dropped all, but one sword and drew it out of it’s sheathe.

“…This is your last warning, get rid of this barrier or whatever and let me go!” She ordered as I reached into my inventory and brought out a familiar knife.

“I got this knife from the Orc you killed because of your idiotic struggle.” I told her as I reminisced in the memories I had with them… the memories I had with my little one…

“S-Stay away from me you filthy, creepy Demi-Human!” She said as I just kept getting closer without a care.

“I’m telling you to get away from me!!” She shouted as she went to hit me, but was surprised when her blow didn’t even get close and was rebounded up in the air.

“Wha- It was repel-” I cut her off as with swift movements I sliced off her hands.

“Aaaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhhhh! My hands!!!!” She screamed as I simply kneed her stomach before kicking her to the ground with a side kick.

“So what? Why does it matter? You done that same thing.” I told her.

“Because of your stupid belief in human supremacy, Tomoe, Hokuto, and other residents we’re hurt. My little one and a young Orc died.” I said blankly.

“No. Stop. Stay away.” She said making me narrow my eyes as the sound of her speaking in the language sounded disgusting.

Coating the blade in a very special Poison, I kneeled and stabbed her in her throat.

“Goodbye.” I said simply as I let the blade sit there.

“Enjoy, you will never know death until I decide. Your soul will never know when to go. Your stuck in a wildly cycle of pain and torture until you can finally understand what happened to you and what you did wrong.” I told her as I stood up and used Gluttony to absorb her and place her in a infinity dark place.

Once I was done I stood up and stared at at the shining moon of my space.

“Thinking on it now, this is the first time I’ve chosen to kill someone in this world… I don’t feel the throw up yet..” I said as lone tear fell to the ground.

“…Huh? Why am I…?” I questioned as more tears began to fall.

‘It can’t be because I killed someone, I did that before. My hands aren’t clean… is it because the one I considered a daughter and the Orc died?’ I questioned as even more tears began to fall.

‘…That’s right this is normal… normal… I’m sorry…’I thought as gave loud pained roar that echoed around even into Tsilge and the Special Space…
