I am woken up by a sudden flash of light and click sound, I can hear voices in the background but my brain is still so slow it can’t exactly make out who the voices belong to or whether the voices are even real. There’s another flash right before my eyes and I hear a chuckle and this forces me to open my eyes to meet a phone right in front of my face and when I look up a bit a smiling Austin is looking at me.

“What the fuck dude?” I groan turning my whole body slowly to his direction to face him. “What’s going on?” I turn and look to my side at Sparks who looks just as confused as she rubs her eyes.

“Oh, nothing’s going on” Austin smiles wider another clicking sound coming from his phone along with a flash of light, it takes me a moment to realize he’s taking photos of us. Why the fuck?

“What the fuck are you doing?” I ask him still a bit confused as to why he was even in my house and in my room.

“Oh this is for memories” he nods “Next time you act all gangster and like this… How do you call it?” he looks over to the other side and I follow his gaze to find Drew standing at the corner by the curtains amusement on his face.

“Wait… there needs to be a bit more light for this” he says and turns around pulling the curtains open.

“No… No no why?” I whine and hear Sparks groan a little before she pulls the covers all the way to her face.

“Big dick boyy! “Drew yells pointing at Austin and Austin bursts into laughter.

“Yeahh, that’s it” he points Drew. I am watching them and the whole time regretting ever knowing the two idiots. I run both my hands over my face and sigh “Next time you act like that, I’m gonna show you this”. He says flipping his phone over to show me a photo of Sparks and I still in the same position as last night’s except this time my head was nuzzled into her neck and she looked so peaceful and cute her arms around my neck, her eyes shut and her hair all over the place. They were going to use that against me? I mean cammon they could do better than that.

“I want to know what’s wrong with you two” I say laying back down on my back and staring between Drew and Austin.

“Nothing’s wrong” Drew shrugs then suddenly plops on the bed lying on his back and I think he lays on Sparks’ legs because I hear her fake a cry under the covers before she whines quietly.

“What is going on?”.

“Get off dude” I sit up looking at Drew and shoving on his arm.

“Aww but we were just starting to get cosy” Austin frowns and right before I know it, he plops on the bed but right on top of me making me groan at the unexpected weight as I fall back on my back.

“Get off me” I mumble trying to push his head off my chest.

“No” he simply says then uncovers Sparks to look at her.

“Cammon men” I push Austin’s head off my chest but he puts it back.

“Good morning” he says staring at Sparks who was still trying to sleep and she mumbles her response.

“What time is it?” I ask ruffling my hair figuring Austin wouldn’t listen to me no matter what I said and how I said it.

“Uuh… it’s 10.46” Drew answers.

“Why are you guys here at 10.46?” I ask. It was too early to be awake and to be making conversation, especially with these idiots.

“We have a game today remember?” Austin reminds me then raises his head to look at me. That was one of the only things that could get me out of bed.

“Oh” the game was very important to me. I look around my room now flooded with light, on the floor lay my first aid kit and the melted ice pack, Sparks’ shirt was still on the floor and I realize this all looked so suspicious. I sigh last nights’ events coming back to mind and suddenly feel my heart skip a beat. That was weird and unlike me.

Holy shit… it wasn’t a dream, it really happened, I had what had to be a really special moment with Sparks. She let me and she was still here lying next to me. I mean Drew and Austin were in bed too but still… she was here and seemed comfortable with me. I smile as a sudden urge to look at Sparks and just confirm her existence in this world hits me.

I lift my hand that’s next to her and uncover her face a little to peak at her. She yawns a cute little panda yawn and looks up at me her eyes barely open then gives me the sweetest, sleepiest smile. I smile back and wink at her making her scoff a small laughter.

“What are you guys doing? Having sex with us still in bed” Austin breaks the quiet moment and lifts his head to look up at us. He just had to…

“What the…” I sigh “get off”.

“No” he retorts but I roughly turn to my side making him fall to the floor on his back. Should’ve just done that earlier huh. “Brooooo” he groans in pain and Drew chuckles. Sparks sits up to look at Austin on the floor then looks back at me as I sit up laughing. She looked so confused and pretty.

“Might as well get up before you follow him” I warn Drew pointing him and he lifts his hands up in defence as he gets up to go check up on Austin who is still lying on the floor.

“Good morning” I speak to Sparks silently as I swing my arm around her shoulder to pull her to me.

“What a way to wake up” she mutters her voice barely audible as she lays her head on my shoulder.

“They’re the reason I’ve never had a girlfriend… They just scare every girl off” I tell Sparks and she laughs softly.

“Oh please… Have you seen me? If anything you knowing me should get you more girls not the other way around” Austin defends and I watch as he sits up.

“I’m not talking about your face weirdo… I’m talking about your weird ass behaviours” I clarify and he scoffs looking over at Drew for back up.

“I mean Cain’s right, you are weird” Drew shrugs and I laugh as Austin gasps dramatically.

“Traitor” he says getting up. “And you… you’re a liar” he says looking over at me and I frown.

“To be fair, I said both of you are weird” I defend but Austin shakes his head in disappointment, dusting off his pants. Dont know what the fuck for, my floors were clean.

“I’m not talking about that” he says and looks over at Drew who nods back at him then looks over at me. They have their own secret way of communicating.

“What?” I ask.

“We don’t do that, we’re not that” Austin says mimicking a deep voice that’s not his.

“Why don’t you guys listen” Drew says trying to mimic the same voice and it takes me moment to realize what they were talking about. Holy shit, right in front of Sparks those dumb, dumb assholes.

“Get out” I point the door and Sparks raises her head a frown on her face as she eyes me.

“Okay… But cammon, there is no denial now” Austin says.

“Yeah, what there is though, are clothes on the floor” Drew points at me. “And a first aid kit…” he gasps “you guys are nasty, what the fuck were you doing with that?” he eyes between me and Sparks.

“What could be in there that’s useable?” Austin asks walking to the other side of the bed that Drew was standing, he reaches for it but Drew stops him.

“Don’t touch it, you don’t know where it’s been” he warns him and Austin nods.

“Oh yeah”.

I realize that Sparks could get uncomfortable with all this attention and honestly I just want it to end. I was used to them but she wasn’t. Or maybe I was the uncomfortable one.

“Nothing happened, now get out” I say looking between them.

“Nothing huh?” Drew scoffs.

“Yeah, nothing that’s any of your business” I say struggling to keep a straight face on while looking at his questioning face and wiggling eyebrows.

“Okay okay… Jeez” Austin says. “Let’s go, give them time to get ready” he pulls Drew as they exit. “20 minutes” he points us and they walk to the door mumbling things amongst themselves. I look back at Sparks who shockingly has an amused look on her face. I can’t believe she enjoyed all this “Oh, and before we leave… Just wanted to tell you Flame, you have a little something here” Austin speaks, peaking his head through the door and pointing his neck. I frown looking over at Sparks quickly for anything and sigh when I realize what he was talking about.

“What?” Sparks asks feeling on her neck, she looks over at me confused and I look over at Austin to see him mouth the words ‘I know what you did’ before walking out making me chuckle. “What?” Sparks asks still confused a frown on her face.

“This” I say then nuzzle neck placing a kiss there, then another one and another one and another one.

“Oh… That” she giggles.

“Mmhm” I mumble nuzzling my head further into her neck. I loved how her scent was a mixture of my showering gel and her natural amazing scent. She smelled delicious. In fact, now it was confirmed, everything about her was delicious. No doubt, trust me.

“You have very funny friends” she comments as I dart my tongue out and quickly lick her skin… What? It was tempting.

“Mmhm” I respond, darting my tongue out and licking her again.

“What are you doing?” she laughs and I look up at her and smile.

“You smell amazing”.

“You find everything about me amazing Forbes” she scoffs smirking and looking very pleased with herself and I chuckle.

“That’s not true… your taste in music sucks so fucking hard” I tell her and she rolls her eyes.

“Real funny” she fakes a smile looking away.

“Hey… I’m just being honest” I defend pulling her to me and she pouts pushing me away. “I’m sorry then!” I yell laughing at her cute little pouty face.

We’re all panting like thirsty dogs when we get out of the gym and Drew looks over at me and smiles.

“Felt nice didn’t it?… To kick ass” he says and I smile nodding my head.

“Always… Those snobby losers suck and so does their game” I say referring to the team we had to play against today.

Yes, I was in a ‘male’ basketball team, but there was no female basketball team in this school and the moment I realized I was actually good at this game, Drew and Austin suggested I join the school team. There was a slight problem there though due to my gender but Drew said he’ll have ‘a talk’ with the coach and to this day I don’t know what he did to make the coach change his mind and allow me to try out. But he did and the coach was obviously fond of me that’s why I was here til now. And that… that got me to know that I could count on these guys no matter what, they could get anything done.

“Hey” Drew places a hand on my shoulder bringing me back to reality. “You’re okay right?” he asks and I look at his sincere concerned eyes then at Austin who was standing beside him with the same look. We hadn’t really had a conversation of what happened the other day. But today morning, I woke up feeling strong and ready to face anything… I wonder where that came from. I told Drew and Austin that I would phone Hayley and hear her out because I could face her… I believe I could. The boys weren’t totally against the decision because we are the type of guys who put the saying ‘win by any means‘ to action. And as long as I had the strongest support system one could ask for, there was no reason to run or go into hiding. I had a strong army and I would use it.

“I think I am” I nod realizing what I said last night was true. These two have treated me better than friends could, they have always been there in the most annoying way possible. They were my family, and I couldn’t even dream of changing that.

“You think?” Austin questions as we continue walking with our dirty uniforms to the parking lot “Look, I know it’s a tough time but you know we-“.

“I know” I interrupt him knowing what he was going to say “and I am okay… after all I have you guys” I shrug.

“Awww” Austin points at me “it has a heart Drew” he jokes and I slap his hand away.

“I seriously mean it… You guys have done a lot for me and I appreciate it” I nod looking at both of them.

“Don’t mention it” Drew shakes his head patting me in the back. “You’re practically family” he says and I feel all warm inside. Damn it what is wrong with me nowadays?

“For real” Austin nods “we are a big happy family…” I smile wider nodding. I was glad they felt the same way “…That is comfortable with fucking in front of each other and sometimes has foursomes” Austin goes on and the smile on my face slowly fades and turns into a cringe. The truth is painful at times.

“You just had to add that didn’t you?” I frown.

“You know I did” he says “and speaking of fucking…” he looks into the distance and I follow his gaze to Sparks who was talking to someone that looked like her dumb as fuck brother.

“What do you mean by that?” I look back at Austin after I register his words.

“Nothing… I’m just saying that you two fucked and you’re refusing to tell us shit about it” he shrugs and I sigh heavily stopping in my tracks.

“Because there’s nothing to tell”.

“There’s always something to tell with you” Austin says pointing at me accusingly.

“Yes, but this time there’s not much to tell… It was amazing… Really amazing” I say turning to look at Sparks from afar as she smiles deep in conversation with whoever she was talking to.

“Simp” Drew scoffs and I turn to look at him, he looks away.

“Shut up” Austin shoves him, then looks at me. “I’m glad you’re whipped and by a beautiful woman too” he nods and I roll my eyes exhaling deeply. This is why you don’t tell these idiots anything… cause they’re idiots.

“You know what… I’m not doing this” I shrug. “I’ll catch up with you guys at the gym… Go ahead” I say as I begin to walk away.

“I hope you’ll invite us to the wedding though bro!” Austin yells attracting attention from several people around us and I want to punch his nose… Hard, then disappear after.

“Fuck you!” I yell and flip him off as I turn to walk to Sparks hearing him and Drew chuckle.

I approach her and notice that yeah, she is speaking to her twin asshole of a brother. Nice.

“Excuse me ma’am, have you maybe happened to see a fine looking lady, slap-able ass, dark mermaid hair… Eyes as bright as my future by her side, smile that could redeem lucifer of his sins, tit-“..

“Okay, okay…” Sparks raises her hand already chuckling.

“Oh never mind, there it is the voice I want scream-“.

“Cut the act…” pause as she makes a thoughtful face “Henrik kings”.

“Who the fuck is that?” I laugh my eyebrows raised in question.

“I don’t know” she laughs harder and I join her. She had the capability to have me laughing in seconds… I’d give her credit for that.

“Well… I’m gonna leave and give you two some space, yeah?” I cover my mouth to look up at Logan who had a small frown on his face. “See you later” he says to his sister then walks away immediately.

”What’s up with him?” I ask referring to her brother and she shrugs pushing her hair back.

“Maybe you shouldn’t be making such comments in front of him?” she says it in more of a questioning manner with a hint of amusement still in her voice. And after I recall her family and background my eyes widen and a wave of slight guilt hits me.

“Is he going to get you in trouble?” I ask my eyes still wide.

“Don’t worry about him” she waves me off and smiles “So…”. Sighh… Ah damn it! That smile could cause a freaking heat wave. So hot, you have no idea.

“So… Have you seen that fine lady for me?” I wave my eyebrows at her. Don’t ask me how we got here, I don’t even know where we are. Wherever it was, it felt amazing to be at with her.

“Depends, what do you want with her?” she asks as the magnet works it’s way with us as usual. But before I can take a step closer to her, my eyes are suddenly covered with what feels like cold, tiny hands.

“Guess who?” whoever it was squealed and I sigh in disappointment. Who the fuck had time for games like these?

“No” I say plainly then the hands drop from my face revealing a Sparks with raised eyebrows.

“Ugh, you’re no fun as usual” the girl speaks again and I turn a frown on my face ready to see who got Sparks making that face.

“Oh” my eyes widen when I realize the painfully awkward moment that was about to take place at the moment.

“Hey stranger, long time no see” and before I can react she throws herself at me for a hug. I groan inwardly, silently cursing this moment. What the fuck?!
