☄. *. ⋆ The end of 1984 marked the return of the Upside Down, everything that came with it, and more.

But the start of 1985 brought happiness.

A new beginning.

The chaos was over. For real this time.

Eleven was back, the gate was closed, Will was safe. They were all safe.

Stella and Max were happy. Together.

Stella’s parents hadn’t found out, Billy laid off of Max, and things were going great. They were both happier than they’d been in a while.

The upcoming summer seemed like it might’ve been the best one yet.
