She was easy to see; her white cable knit sweater looked good with her caramel colored skin. Her snug jeans gave definition to her sweetly rounded backside and sleek legs as she gamely clomped around the ice skating rink, occasionally flailing for the barricade. The snug sweater displayed her large breasts beautifully and the creamy white color highlighted her shoulder length black hair and brown skin.
“At least she’s trying,” Honey Jacobs smiled, skating around the rink with ease.
Because it was Valentine’s Day, the Sweet Oak Ice Skating Rink had painted several hearts around the rink. A thin sheet of ice had been spread out over the large hearts, making the skating easy and fast. For fun, Honey skated around the outline of the largest heart that was directly in the center of the oval rink. On that final turn, she had seen the beautiful biracial girl attempting to skate.
“Hi,” Honey said to the young girl.
“Hey,” Avyn Smith agreed, large brown eyes fearful as she struggled to maintain her balance.
Lean forward a little bit,” Honey coached, tamping her blades to keep pace with the girl. “That’s it, that’s it. Now, kind of keep them knees bent. You feel like you going fall? Put your hands on your knees.”
Avyn struggled, but did as Honey instructed. Honey pushed her thick blonde hair out of her startling blue eyes and smiled encouragingly at the girl. She then showed the girl how to use her left foot, then her right foot to push herself forward.
“Push. And. Glide. Push. And glide. Push. And glide,” Honey chanted and the beautiful girl let out a giggle as she was finally skating. She was finally skating and not just clumsily jerking and stumbling along the barricade.
“You work here?” Avyn braved looking at the beautiful blonde as they now meandered around the rink in an easy glide.
“Hmm? No,” Honey laughed as she twirled in a graceful circle. “No. My mother had me out on the ice pretty much from the minute I could walk.”
“Really?” Avyn asked.
“Mm hmm. Eva Reinweisch. She was in the two thousand two Winter Olympics. Figure skater from the country of Tutite. Might have seen the clips of her left skate breaking right in the middle of a spin,” Honey said, demonstrating a spin. “Anyway, she loved skating and got me into it.”
“Well, you should work here,” Avyn praised. “I mean, you got me skating just like that.”
“So, you here by yourself?” Honey asked, skating backward so she and Avyn could continue to talk.
“Quit! You making me dizzy,” Avyn playfully complained.
“Oh! Sooo sorry,” Honey teased, twirling and coming to rest next to Avyn. “This better?”
“Uh huh,” Avyn agreed, smiling.
“So; you here by yourself?” Honey asked again.
“Huh? No, no, here with Alex. See, yesterday was my birthday and…” Avyn said, looking around for Alex Hackett, her date for this Valentine’s Day.
“Oh, well, Happy Birthday! How old are you?” Honey asked, nodding in greeting to someone that called out to her.
“Thanks. Just made eighteen,” Avyn said proudly.
“Wait. Wait a minute. Your birthday is Friday the Thirteenth?” Honey smiled.
“Not all the time!” Avyn protested then frowned as she finally located her errant boyfriend.
Alex Hackett was sitting on the aluminum bleachers outside of the gate, was very engrossed in a conversation with a slightly chubby red head. Apparently, the red head was pleased by the attention; giggling and blushing and touching Alex’s arm and hand often as they talked. Avyn frowned and kept skating past the bleachers.
“That him? Talking to Doreen, the red head?” Honey asked, looking where Avyn’s eyes had been.
“Don’t know her name, but yeah; that’s him,” Avyn spat.
“Be right back,” Honey said and rapidly sped away.
“Miss me?” Honey said, coasting to a crawl next to Avyn once more.
“Yeah,” Avyn smiled at her new friend. “Where’d you go?”
“Needed to tell Jonnie to keep an eye on your boyfriend. “Doreen? Is only twelve and has a learning disability. I know, she looks older, but…” Honey said, looking toward the bleachers again.
“Not my boyfriend,” Avyn said. “Like I said, was my birthday yesterday and you know, today’s Valentine’s Day and…”
By the way, my name’s Honey,” Honey said.
“Huh? Oh, oh, hey. My name’s Avyn. Yeah, yeah, I know. But our last name’s Smith and my Momma wanted me have a name sets me apart,” Avyn said.
“Well, it does set you apart. Oh, hey, want to try a figure eight?” Honey asked, performing a tight figure 8 in demonstration.
“What?” Avyn laughed. “And fall on my big old butt?”
Come on,” Honey coaxed. “Just remember; you think you going fall? Put your hands on your knees.”
“That’s it! That’s it! You got it, you got it!” Honey praised Avyn’s very clumsy figure 8.
“I, I did it!” Avyn gasped, delighted.
She performed another figure 8 and laughed happily. Honey smiled widely at the girl and praised her efforts.
Another ten minutes passed with them making a lazy turn around the rink. Looking over, Honey saw Jonnie and Doreen on the bleachers, having an intense conversation. She saw Alex had climbed into the rink and was mimicking Avyn’s earlier efforts. He clung to the rail, clomping along in a very poor attempt of ice skating. His head was on a swivel, obviously trying to locate Avyn, or perhaps his next red headed conquest.
“Had enough?” Honey smiled as Avyn seemed flushed.
“Yeah,” Avyn admitted.
“Here’s the gate,” Honey smiled. “Go on and I’ll be right there.”
Honey’s short skirt flounced up, displaying her muscled thighs and tight backside. Even with a dozen skaters scattered throughout the large oval, Honey performed a fast routine, one that showed off her full red satin briefs often as the skirt flounced out. Her last jump put her at the gate and she effortlessly exited the rink.
“Show off,” Jonnie playfully accused as Honey clumped along the outside of the barricade.
“Absolutely,” Honey smiled at the attractive red headed employee. “Hi Doreen. How you doing today?”
“I’m good, Miss Honey. How you doing?” the quite well-developed young girl said, voice thick.
“Any better I couldn’t stand it,” Honey answered and Doreen found Miss Honey’s response to be hilarious.
Honey ducked into the restroom and opened her locker. There were twenty small lockers in the well-lighted and spacious restroom; at present only three were being utilized. Honey quickly changed out of her skating uniform and decided, she’d not worked up a sweat so the outfit could remain in the locker.
Before leaving the restroom, Honey touched up her makeup. Stepping back slightly, she smiled at her reflection; the pink blouse was gauzy, giving a teasing hint of her full breasts. The skirt was short without being too short, displaying her sleek, muscled legs. Her leather sandals displayed her dainty feet and pink toenails perfectly. With a kiss to her reflection, Honey left the restroom.
“Problem?” Honey asked, finding an agitated Avyn at the counter, glaring at an employee of the ice skating rink.
“I told him, I come with someone else,” Avyn argued.
“And he’s not here,” the employee said. “So she needs to pay for her skate rental.”
“Jordy, I got it. She’s with me,” Honey smiled, putting her arm around Avyn’s waist.
“Thanks. I, that damned Alex all like we need go out; its Valentine’s Day,” Avyn snarled bitterly, twisting and looking for the arrogant young man she’d come with.
“It’s all right. I got it,” Honey said, squeezing Avyn’s waist in her one armed hug. “Okay? I got it.”
“Thanks, Ms. Jacobs,” Jordy said; his relief was evident.
“It’s all right,” Honey said to both combatants. “It’s all right.”
Avyn grabbed her shoes when Jordy brought them to the counter. She marched to the bleachers and sat to put her shoes on. Honey waited for Avyn to finish; the girl was hyper-focused on the task at hand. Truthfully, Honey was surprised the shoelaces did not pop from Avyn’s savage jerking.
“Have you eaten yet?” Honey asked when Avyn’s head popped up.
“Huh? I uh, no, no. We, we was supposed to go to that Bully Burgers,” Avyn said.
“Ooh, I love Bully; come on,” Honey enthused.
“Okay,” Avyn let a smile crease her pretty face.
“You should do that more often,” Honey said, grasping Avyn’s hand in a casual grip.
“What? Skate? Yeah, now that I know how?” Avyn agreed.
“No. Smile. When you smile like that? You are simply gorgeous,” Honey said, pushing the door of the indoor ice skating rink open.
“Whew!” Avyn said, welcoming the outside’s warm temperature. “I was ’bout to freeze to death in there!”
“Uh huh,” Honey smiled, leading Avyn toward her bright red 2022 Jaguar S-Type coupe.
“I, this? This is you?” Avyn said, gawking at the sports car.
“Uh huh. For about another week,” Honey said, opening the passenger door for Avyn.
“Oh? You borrowing it?” Avyn asked as she got into the cramped interior.
“No. Trading it in. Getting a pearl white BMW M two forty I,” Honey said, settling into the driver’s seat.
“Oh? So what kind of car this is?” Avyn asked, looking around at the interior of the car.
“It’s a Jaguar. It’s a pretty car, but honestly? I hate driving it,” Honey admitted.
Whether she hated driving the car or not, Honey was an aggressive driver. What should have taken twenty five minutes to get them from the Sweet Oak Ice Skating Rink to the Bully Burger took sixteen minutes. As they walked from car to front door, Honey again held Avyn’s hand in a casual grip. As they stood in line Honey draped an arm around Avyn’s waist. After a split second of hesitation, Avyn put her arm around Honey’s waist.
“Damn! You knew they had all them burgers?” Avyn asked, reading the extensive menu as they waited.
“Mm hmm. My favorite is the Cannonball,” Honey agreed.
Avyn decided, then changed her mind and then decided again. By the time they reached the counter, Avyn had no idea what to order. The young girl at the counter smiled; they were quite used to indecisive customers. She asked Avyn what she normally put on her burger and made the recommendation that Avyn try their signature Ranch House. A tangy barbeque sauce, melted cheddar cheese and onion straws. Avyn could then add lettuce, tomato raw onions, and pickle if she wanted.
