As this story is like, hella gay, I wanted to make some rainbow aesthetics, because I’ve realised they give me HEEEELLA serotonin. And, rainbow, because it’s fun and it’s gay and I am sometimes one of those things (always the other). It’s also almost been 3 years since I published the original author’s note–December 1st, 2019 feels so insanely long ago. I can still remember working away in the back of Honors Chemistry, pretending I was learning about entropy and not writing about a pan mermaid and her lesbian coworker.
