Aria’s P.O.V

Currently me and Emma we’re near her village.

“Aria, This is the place I told you. Please wait here while I explain the situation to everyone.” Emma told me as I nodded and she left leaving me alone for a bit.

Using this opportunity, I raised my right arm up to look at the golden bracelet that was now on my arm.

‘Your a mysterious thing aren’t you.’ I thought as I stared at the bracelet.

Reading the description, I couldn’t help, but wonder how powerful this thing really is.

‘I wonder how many is out there just like you.’ I thought.

“Aria.” Emma cane back as I looked away from the bracelet and towards her.

“Hm?” I responded.

“You can come in now. Everything’s all sorted out.” She said making me nod as I rose up and followed her.

-Time Skip-

Currently I was feasting on the food the Orcs were serving.

‘I didn’t think I would be so hungry after 3 days. It must have something to do with my new abilities.’ I thought.

“Unfortunately, all we can offer you is food from our reserves.”Emma said asvI looked towards her with a light blush in my face as I was eating without any manners.

“This is fine.” I said before continuing chowing down a bit slower this time around.

Continuing forward I didn’t bother with the small conversation the Orcs infront of me were having. Even if they were a bit about me it’s good to have so wariness to someone you haven’t met.

Soon I noticed a set of floating armor.

I raised a brow at this as I didn’t know if it was an enemy or not.

“Somthing wrong Aria?” Emma asked.

“There’s a floating set of armor.” I told her as she looked over to where I was staring only to giggle before looking back towards me.

“That’s just Magic, Aria. We use it regularly to move things around.” Emma explained.

“You said ‘we’ does that mean you can also do it?” I questioned as she stared at me.

“Are you perhaps unable to use Magic Aria? But you we’re alone in the wasteland.” She said making think.

“I can use it a bit, but not much.” I said as I demonstrated by lifting the towels in her hands with a purple and redish glow.

Moving them around a bit before placing them back in her hands neatly.

“Wow, to be able to do that without any chant or staff is pretty impressive.” She said making me raise brow since that was pretty basic.

“Emma do you think you could teach me hoe to use magic better?” I asked surprising her as she gave me wryly smile.

“If you’re fine with me… You’re a rather strange person Aria.” She said as I just shrugged.

“I get that alot.” I told her.

-Small Time Skip-

I’m currently with Emma so I could learn how to use magic properly.

“Now then, let’s begin with brid it’s a basic spell.” She said as she soon started to do a chant before saying the magic word which made a ball of Flamee bloom to life in her hand.

“This spell transforms you mana and gives it an attribute. This is something very important when you’re using Magic. It isn’t in orcish so it’s a bit tough to understand.” Emma explained as I lifted brow.

‘Hm, Let me test this.’ I thought as I held out my palm and started the chant before saying the magic word.

Everyone stared surprised at me as Flame bigger then Emma’s floated in my hand.

“Hm, cool.” I said with a small smile.

“Wh-What?” Emma questioned as she stared at my fire ball.

‘Hm, doing the chant takes to much time though.’ I thought as I stared at my own Flame.

“L-Let’s move on. Imagine your flames in the form of a ball. Then launch it at your target.”She said as she launched her fire ball at a random stone mountain making a small explosion.

“Just try throwing it like that.” She told me as I nodded.

Compressing the flames in my hand. I gripped it with my bare hands before throwing towards the stone making a big explosion powerful enough to take out a chunk out of the small mountain.

Seeing the damage I caused by the attack I nodded in acknowledgement.

Seeing the notification from the System I was amused.

‘So by learning this world’s magic I can gain the whole package. That’s very useful and cool.’ I thought smiling unconsciously.

“I didn’t think you’d learn it that easily. How high us your level, Aria?” Emma asked me.

“Your just a good a teacher though to be honest, I have no idea what these levels you speak of are.” I said making her look at me in shock.

“You don’t know what levels are? You really are a strange one. Levels are the depictions of ones power and strength. For example a level one is the starter level for everyone and as time goes on those levels advance based off of that person’s daily life.” She explained making me nod in understanding.

“That’s a pretty unique thing.” I responded.

“Oh, that’s right, once a hyuman dropped a level indicating scroll around here…” She as she ran off to get the scroll before coming back with it in hand.

“With how quickly you learned and how strong it was. I’m sure you’re Level 200 no… 300!” She said making me raise a brow a the scroll before I took it and grasped it in my hand.

Once in my hand the scroll turned completely black.

Looking towards the others, I raised a brow as everyone wore shocked expressions.

“Um, What level am I?” I asked as Emma looked towards me.

“I-I don’t know, this never happened before.” She said making me sigh as I couldn’t get to know my initial level.

“Well that’s a bummer, do you mind teaching me some more spells?” I asked her as she nodded with a wryly smile.

“Sure!” She responded as I nodded.

-Time Skip-

Currently it was now morning and using the map and my speed I was rushing towards the mountain where this Shin was.

‘Killing this thing should be enough to pay back what I owe them.’ I thought as came to a complete stop.

“The map said it’s place is around here.” I said to myself as the system screen popped up infront of me.

‘It’s a good thing I decided to fuse my Dragon Slayer Magic With My Regular Magic otherwise I would have had a bunch of unnecessary taken up space.’ I thought as I lit my fist ablaze making me red,purple, and black flame appear.

‘The key to using Magic is to let your imagination run loose…’ I thought as I let the flames play in the air .

‘Then what I’ll definitely try my luck with a bow.’ I thought as my flames soon shifted into a long bow and arrow.

Knocking said arrow on the string, I pulled it back as I laid my eyes on my target. An old gate that was far out from me.

‘Let’s see if I still have it.’ I thought as I then let the arrow fly piercing through the air as it flew at fast speeds.

Soon it hit it’s target which left a some arrow size hole on the gate.

‘Great, And the shot was faster then normal so this is very good.’ I thought though my attention was soon drawn back to the gate as flames we’re beginning to come out of the hole.

‘Eh?’ I questioned as soon a the gate exploded surprising and shocking me at the same time.

‘Wow, I guess that had way more power then I thought. Better use a less destructive element next time.’I thought as I suddenly received a notification.

I stared at the notification with a small frown.

‘Seem some got encompassed in my attack accidentally. I should go over to see if there are any survivors.’ I thought completely ignoring that I had destroyed the gate completely.

Rushing over, I gazed over the destruction I had made as burnt blue horned corspes laid on the ground.

“You… bitch…” Said one of the horned people.

Looking down towards him, I could see that hald of his body was gone.

“The orcs must have sent you… We planned on… recruiting the highland Orcs… By using the name of Shin… But to think that… they’d find a monster like you…” He croked out.

“So I’m guessing you are the one behind the sacrifices officially.” I narrowed my eyes as he just began to laugh.

“You fools… Those idiots we’re to rash. You just destroyed Shin’s home… You’ll incur in it’s wrath… Serves you right.” He said weakly as he began to fade away like dust.

It was then that I noticed that a bunch of fog was spreading around the area.

‘What is thi-‘ I cut myself off as I felt some behind me.

Turning around my eyes couldn’t help but widen on what they laid on.

From what I recall from mythology, Shin was a giant clam who created illusions and mirages. If it was that I honestly thought I could cook it up and bring it back to the Orcs as gratitude for what they did, but… seems my thoughts we’re not correct at all.

“So I wrong, I’m guessing you are Shin, correct?” I asked the being that stood infront of me.

‘A Dragon named Shin, that’s one of the most misleading names ever.’ I thought as I stared at the giant dragon.

Seeing the quest screen, my eyes narrowed.

‘Seems I can’t just walk away from this.’ I thought as I summoned up my Mithril Katana.

Seeing this, Shin decided to be the first one to attack.

Dodging the first attack, I had to quickly change my footing as the second came just as quickly aiming to bite me apart.

‘All of this Mist is covering its movements and making my view of it sway.’ I thought as I had to quickly flip in the air to dodge the Dragon aiming for my legs.

Landing back on the ground, I looked around ready, but not sight of Shin anywhere.

‘Like I thought this is not any normal fog. Usually I can see through such.’ I thought as I then felt somthing behind me.

I quickly barrel rolled to my right as I dodged another attack made by Shin.

‘Wind Breathing 3rd Form: Clean Storm Wind Tree!’ I thought as then unleashed a whirlwind of slashes.

With my attack Shin backed of for a bit as the Mist was also cut apart near me.

‘Great, some Breathing room.’ I thought as I looked around with my Mithril sword out and ready.

‘If only I could see where it is?’I thought before I suddenly felt like I became way more aware of my surroundings.

‘What?’ I questioned as I looked up to see that I could see the Dragon clearly, but it couldn’t see me.

‘Hm, This must be the Sakai. The power Lord Tsukuyomi gave me.’ I thought as decided to make use of it.

With a snap of my fingers multiple brids started to appear around the Dragon.

Seeing this the Dragon didn’t react as if my attack wouldn’t harm it making me give a small smile.

‘Let’s see how you think when they actually hit you!’ I thought as I then started to fire the brids at the ground at first to disperse the mist around it.

It was then that I made the brids target itself. Which it skillfully dodged until a sneaky one came up and hit it on it’s body making an explosion on it scales making it release a pained roar.

‘Hm, effective, but not as much as I would like it to be.’ I thought as I started to run toit side as it looked around for me.

“Fire Dragon Iron fist!” I casted as my fist lit ablaze and I punched the Dragon in the side of it’s face taking it by surprise.

Once I landed that attack I quickly followed up.

“Fire Dragon Talon!” I casted as I kicked the Dragon on the otherside of it’s face making it go flying.

Seeing that it was really hurt by my attacks, I decided to finish it.

“Fire Dragon Sword Horn!” I casted as I headbutted it under it’s chin making it fall to the ground as I landed beside it softly.

‘Hm, That wasn’t that hard. Dragon Slayer Magic really is powerful.’ I thought.

Just when I was about to walk away I felt somthing. I was about to turn around to respond, but it was to late.

I was suddenly captured in a translucent cube as Mist started flooding into it.

‘This Mist… It’s not normal…’I thought as soon my thoughts drifted off…
