In this chapter I’m going to be mentioning a song (to which I do not own any rights too) that will relate in one way or the other to the characters and their stories. I will also be mentioning many songs along the way. Kylie is back in this chapter, so if you missed her you will get to read about her and know more about her story. Hope you enjoy reading this and if you don’t please tell me what I should change or do to make the next chapters better for you.

                                                    Chapter Three
                             ~~~~~ Alex – The best of the best ~~~~~
     ‘What the hell have you gotten me into?’ Well she only asked for this. ‘God dang it why did youagree to this, Alex?’ Because she gave me the look with the eyes and even added the pleading face, you know I can’t say no to the eyes. ‘Damn you.’ I’m sorry.
It has been three days since our agreement. Mrs. Smith had been busy the last couple of days running her store so she had to postpone our shopping trip until today. My shoulder is now fully recovered and out of that uncomfortable sling. What can I say, I heal really fast.
‘No you don’t.’ well physically at least.
“You look so beautiful, Alexandria” Rachael says while spinning me. She takes a couple steps back to take a better look at me.
“Please, call me Alex.” I tell her. She smiles and nods her head in acceptance.
Mrs. Smith had been so excited when I agreed to this. ‘My own personal hell if you ask me.’ But just look how happy she looks. ‘how could you do this to me?’ oh shut up and suck it up. It’s not like I’m going to wear the dang thing.
“Dayumm! baby you are hotter than the hot summer sun!” Said someone from somewhere in the store. When turning around I saw a group of guys about 10 feet away looking in our direction with wide eyes. Some of them were staring at Mrs. Smith, while some were running their eyes up and down my body. I ran and hid behind Mrs. Smith in a second.
“Now why you gotta hide baby?” the tallest of them said stepping out of the crowd of guys. Through the mirror I saw Mrs. Smith’s face go from a smile to a frown in a matter of seconds.
“Hey, baby tell your sister to quit hiding and show me that fine sexy ass of hers.” the same tall guy, now addressing Mrs. Smith said. He has on a blue Polo shirt with navy blue jeans.
‘He seems like a spoiled rich kid.’ You took the words right out of my mouth.
“First of all she’s not my sister, but thanks for the complement. Second, please don’t embarrass yourselves anymore and go home before I have my husband prosecute you. And finally, that is no way to talk to a young lady who clearly is not in the least bit interested in you.” she said stepping closer to the guys with every spoken word.
A crowd was now forming and some very angry costumers were looking at the boys with disgust, while cheering for Mrs. Smith. Everyone stopped their shopping hunt and watched with curious eyes as Mrs. Smith stood up the guys,
“you tell them girl!” yelled a girl in the back of the crowd.
“It’s about time someone put them in their place!” someone said to the right. The crowed got larger as more people were shouting words of encouragement to Mrs. Smith.
‘So this is not the first time they have done this.’ I guess so.
“Wow baby, you must have found some old dude to marry cause there is no way you-” He was cut short when Mrs. Smith raised her hand at him and got her phone out to make a call.
“Hey Esmeralda, is he there.” she said to someone on the other line. Everyone was now looking at Mrs. Smith curious to see what she’s going to do.
“Hey honey, how long can someone go to jail for publicly harassing young ladies in a clothing store?” Mrs. Smith looked at the boys and smiled. “Yeah I have them right here in front of me.” She said to what I assume was Mr. Smith. She handed the tall guy the phone and said, “He wants to talk to you.”
The guy snatches the phone and talks to Mr. Smith. He was quiet for a few seconds as he listened closely to the other end of the line. “Yes sir.” he said now all serious and stiff. “No sir it won’t happen again.” he hung up and handed the phone to Mrs. Smith.
“I’m sorry if I said anything to upset you or your friend ma’am.” he said looking at her in the eyes. Whatever Mr. Smith told him, scared him to death because he apologized to everyone and left the store practically running for his life. The other guys followed after him not comprehending what just happened.
“Yeah!” yelled the people in the store. They gave Mrs. Smith looks of admiration and respect.
“Are you all right, Alex?” She said to me after everyone had left to do their shopping in peace.
“Thank you, Mrs. Smith.” I say giving her a quick hug. The hug caught her by surprise but she quickly composed herself and hugged me back.
“Please call me Rachel. It makes me sound old, and plus Mrs. Smith is my mother in law.” she said with a smile. I shake my as she said Mrs. Smith made her sound old.
“OK Mrs. – I mean Rachel” Her name sounded foreign and exotic coming out of my mouth. It’s going to take some time getting used to it. Her smile grows bigger as she hugs me again. “Can I please get out of this dress?” I begged her when she lets me go. I was well aware of the people starring and was so not comfortable with the attention.
A girl looked at me and smiled I smiled back but kept looking around. The guys jaws were practically dropped to the floor as they all stared at me. Some girls seemed jealous and glared at me as they hit their boyfriends for even glancing in my direction.
Suddenly I felt way too uncomfortable in the red cocktail dress. It is long and elegant with just one arm. A silver circle holds the fabric together in the middle of my shoulder. The dress is exactly my size emphasizing everything that I try to hide under baggy clothing.
“This is not your thing is it?” she asked looking at me in the eyes. There was a little pain in her voice as she spoke.
“Honestly, no.” I tell her dropping my gaze to the floor. ‘This is so not my thing.’
“OK, then what is your thing, Alex?” She lifted my chin so I could look at her. Rachel was now looking at me awaiting my answer.
“I like shorts. I like shirts. I like sneakers. I like skateboarding. I love music. And basically I love to be myself, but this-” I say running my hand down the dress and pointing to the store. “It’s just not me.”
A bright smile appeared on her face out of nowhere after a few seconds of pure silence.
‘I know that look.’ what are you talking about. ‘Are you stupid or something, she has an idea.’ oh.
She told me to go change, which I did and was out of the dressing room in record time. Rachel bought the dress as well as some heals she made me try on earlier.
“You’ll need them one day.” she simply told me when handing me the bag. Next thing I know, I being dragged by the arm. We went to the other side of the mal with Rachael guiding me through the busy mall making sure we ran into no one.
‘Where the heck is she going?’ I have no idea.
 We were now apparently close because she turned the corner and slowed down.
“Where are we going?” I asked her out of breath.
‘God she sure is fast!’ you can say that again. ‘God she sure is fast!’ Ha ha funny. ‘I know right?!’ I was being sarcastic. ‘Whatever. I’m still funny.’
“You’ll see soon enough.” she said also out of breath. She continued to walk while dragging me behind her. In a few seconds we were standing in front of a skateboarding rink.
‘Oh my God! Now, this is what I’m talking about!’ I didn’t even bring my board, so why are you all excited about? ‘Damn you.’ hey I did not find it necessary to carry a skateboard in the mall. Sue me for actually thinking! ‘I will!’ just shut the hell up. ‘Language, Alex you’re talking to a minor here.’ oh my god shut up!
“Well aren’t you going in? I didn’t drag you all this way for you to just stand there.” She said as she pushed me in. my mouth dropped when I saw what was inside. There are obstacles everywhere you look. A huge ramp is set up in the far right corner with a few guys spinning in the air as they perform their tricks. There are stairs and rails in which a guy fell on his butt.
‘He’s definitely not going to the bathroom anytime soon.’
There is a bowl in the middle filled with guys of all shapes and sizes.
It’s safe to say that we were the only two girls in the building. Everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at us. I was too busy admiring the place to notice the stares at the moment.
“We would like to rent a skateboard and some gear please.” Rachel asked politely to the guy on the counter. He just stared at us for a few seconds but then quickly composed himself.
“That will be $30 for the rental of a skateboard, the pads, and the helmet.” He said looking at Rachel and then at me. She took out her wallet and paid the guy.
He handed me a plain skate board with the Tap logo and the pads. I adjusted both the elbow and knee pads in place I then adjusted the uncomfortable helmet until it was tolerable. I did a few stretches and tested the skateboard. Everything was perfect.
‘OK now please get me out there!‘ I’m going. I’m going.
I gave Rachel a pleading look. She waved her hand mentioning me to go on. I hugged her and ran. I put my skateboard down and started pushing forward. The feeling is incredible the freedom to express yourself almost impossible to describe.
“Hey now don’t hurt yourself there, little lady. We wouldn’t want to call you an ambulance now would we?” A guy says passing right in front of me. I stop and kick my skateboard on the tip making it flip in the air and land on my hand. He is at least 7 inches taller than me.
‘Everyone is taller than you.’ shut up. I looked up to the guy and smiled.
“It’s ok, but I can call you one if you want.” I said putting my skateboard down and started pumping my feet again not wanting any problems. “Hey!” he yelled again behind me.
“What?” I asked now annoyed. Turning around I saw him surrounded with a bunch of guys. I stopped, picked my board up, and turned to face them.
“We want to have a competition with the new girl.” A boy with a light blue shirt said. They were now all coming forward towards me. I raised an eyebrow at them. “You all want to take me on?” I asked pointing at myself.
“Sure why not? Unless you’re too scared to do so, I mean it’s OK if you’re scared.” One of the guys taunted in the front of the crowd.
‘Now they have crossed the line!’ Chill we can take them. ‘hell yeah we can!!’ Are you ready? ‘I was born ready baby!!”
“OK how about this? I will compete against the five best skaters in this place in three stages. Stage one: tricks, Stage two: the bowl, and stage three: the ramp.” I said looking at each guy in front of me.
‘Um Alex, did you just say the ramp?’ Yup. ‘You sure about this?’ Yup. ‘I really hope so.’
Rachel had a curious glint in her eyes with a huge smile on her face as she witnessed the scene before her from the bench she’s sitting on.
“OK fine, but if you lose against any of us you, you’ll have to kiss ever single guy in this room.” A guy stepped up and said pointing to each individual guy standing before him. He has a huge grin on his face making his blue eyes stand out.
‘God is he for real?’ they must be really desperate for a girlfriend. ‘you can say that again.’ they must be- ‘Don’t even go there.’
“Deal, but if I win you all have to do something for me.” I looked at every single guy standing in front of me while talking. They were all different yet so alike. Some were short while some were so tall that I had to lift my head to look at them. Some were cute and hot, while some were average or even to some extent, ugly. There were at least 27 guys standing in front of me waiting for me to continue.
“And what would that be?” He asked crossing his arms.
“You will all have to dress like a girl and go around the mall saying, “Alexandria Santiago rocks!” Everyone is to wear a dress that I pick and buy it no matter how much it cost. Make-up and wigs will also be required. You all will start in one end of the mall and go around the mall till you get to where you started. Do we have a deal gentlemen?” they all looked at me with fear in their eyes .publicly humiliating them will teach them a lesson or two about messing with me.
“Do we have a deal gentlemen?” I asked slowly.
“You got yourself a deal little lady.” Said the tall guy stretching out his hand.
‘Let the games begin!’
                            ~~~~~ Kylie – Get out of my head ~~~~~

     As the days progressed, Kylie found herself thinking more and more about the mystery girl. Every day she went to the park at the same time of the accident, to see if she would be there looking for her too. Kylie’s heart fell every time she did not see her, when she saw a full park with unfamiliar faces.

She found herself dreaming she had finally found her, but woke to see it was all just a dream. Tears were rolling down her cheek at the realization, yet she wondered why she cared so much for the girl who she had caused so much pain too.

“Are you alright, honey?” Asked her mother worried about the way Kylie was just staring and playing with her food. Kylie looked up to her mom and smiled.

“Yeah mom, I’m fine. I’m just tired. Practice has been brutal this week.” she had not lied to her mother. Cheerleading took a lot out of her. Practices were now more frequent and harder due to the ending of the football season. Kylie hated hiding something from her mother, yet how could she tell her that she was thinking of a girl who she did not even know by name.

“Kylie, do you think you guys will go to state this year?” Asked Kylie’s little brother. He had his face filled with spaghetti sauce. She laughed at her little brother and responded his question with a smile.

“Maybe, we got a strong team this year. It’s anybody’s game.”

“This year I’ll be cheering louder than ever, so that they can win and make it all the way.” Her bother said slurping spaghetti as soon as he finished his sentence.

“I’m sure that with you cheering us on we will win every game, Gabe” Kylie went around the table and kissed her little brother on the cheek getting some spaghetti sauce on her lips in the process. He smiled and hugged her.

“Ok Gabe, time for bed. Go brush your teeth and go put on your Pj’s. I want you in bed when I go upstairs.” Adriana told her son. Gabriel stood up and did as instructed.

They never had a problem with him. Gabriel was young but well advanced for his age. He had seen things no kid should see. He heard his mother’s screams. He saw how his father beat his mother again and again in front of him. He felt impotent when he stood there watching his mother get beaten, but what can a kid do to stop the abuse? He never understood why his mother would let his father treat her like dirt and use her to his like. Asking this question only got him a beating of his own by his father who had heard him; he was barely five at the time. He never again spoke of it and instead hid in his room shielding his ears with his pillow every time he heard his mother scream during the day or at night.

“I got this sweetheart, go on to bed and get some rest.” Adriana told her daughter. Kylie said her goodnight and headed to her room.

Sleep finally came after hours of lying in bed. Once again she found herself dreaming, looking for the girl. She was roaming the park looking for her familiar face. She ran faster and faster until she could no longer go on. She fell to her knees exhausted and looked in front of her. “Where are you?” She said out loud.

“Behind you silly!” Said the familiar girl’s voice.

She woke up and sat up quickly. Her alarm was blaring making her head hurt. She turned it off and headed for the bathroom. After a quick shower she got herself ready for school. She only had on a pair of blue jeans and a simple blue shirt. She got her favorite blue pumas out of her closet and put them on proudly. They were the only pair of shoes she had bought with her own money. She quickly brushed her hair and grabbed her stuff.

Adriana had already left for work. Kylie found Gabe eating cereal alone on the table. She went up to him and hugged him. “Hey Gabe, did you sleep alright?” she asked as he was putting a spoonful of cereal in his mouth. A faint yeah could be understood as he responded with his mouth full of cereal.

Kylie pored herself a blow of cereal and joined her little brother on the table. They had a light conversation while they were both enjoying their cereal. Then, Kylie got the plates and washed them. When finally done cleaning up, she went for her stuff and headed out the door with Gabriel by her side.

She dropped Gabe off his school and headed to her own. Every song that she found in a station reminded her of the girl. She stopped her search when she heard an unfamiliar song.

“She rolled in from the west In a summer sun dress Hotter than the heat in July With her wind blown hair

It just wasn’t fair
The way she was blowin’ my mind
Have you ever noticed
Every hurricane gets its name from a girl like this
She’s a cat. five kind
Keeps you up at night
Hangin’ on to the edge of a kiss

She’s a beautiful mess
The kind you love to love
But what happens next
I got a feeling when the sun comes up

I’m gonna wish I had a storm warning
I’m gonna wish I had a sign
I’m gonna wish I had a little heads up
Little lee-way, little more time
Some kind of radar system
Locked in on love
I got a feeling by the time the night finds the morning

I’m gonna wish I had a storm warning”

The song ended but Kylie still had the words on her mind. She really wishes she had a warning before meeting the girl. She wished that she could stop thinking about her but found that no matter how hard she tries, it was just impossible. She was there in Kylie’s mind every second of the day. The girl was in every song Kylie heard. She was everywhere Kylie looked. The girl was engraved in her being and there was nothing Kylie could do to get her out.

Anthony was leaning against his car when Kylie got out of her car. He waved a hand for her to come over but she shook her head and headed inside. As she arrived to her locker, Kylie was not surprised to find it crowded. ”Hey Kylie,” Greeted her squad as she started to enter the locker combination. She said hi to them not wanting to be rude and opened to locker to put her books inside. Soon they were doing their morning routine. The girls talked about the latest gossip while Kylie tried to tune them out only laughing and agreeing with them at all the right spots. They never saw her indifference nor acknowledged her feelings, but Kylie just ignored it and kept moving forward.

Her day went as usual. Kylie focused on her classes and kept her grades up not wanting them slip so she could attend the college of her choice with no difficulty. Anthony kissed her every chance he had, but Kylie felt nothing and couldn’t wait the moment it would be over. She hated having him close to her but put up with it. Thankfully the bell ran indicating that school was over for the day. As she headed to her car, Anthony approached her and kissed her once again. Kylie waited for him to finish and then once he broke he kiss she greeted him with the most polite smile she could master.

“We were thinking of going to the mall today. You want to go?” He asked her after releasing her. She thought about denying the offer but Kylie knew he would not give up easily if she did.

“Yeah sure, what time?” She asked trying to sound excited.

“How does 6 sound? I’ll pick you up if you want.” He was oblivious to Kylie’s actions towards him and everyone else. She only had to smile and wave at them and they would just go with it. No one bothered to question her actions.

She agreed to the arrangement and allowed Anthony one last kiss. Kylie pushed him off after Anthony was getting the wrong idea and was putting his hands all over her body. He was mad but let her go either way. He didn’t want to make a scene in front of his peers.

Once she left school Kylie went straight home when Adriana called and told her that she had already picked up her brother from his school. When entering the house, Gabe came running to hug her almost knocking her to the ground from the impact.

“Kylie!” He screamed enthusiastically. Gabriel made sure to show both his mother sand his sister how much he loves them especially if he had not seen them in a while.

“Hey Gabe, how was school? Learn anything new?” Kylie asked him getting up and putting her stuff on the table. Gabe followed her not missing a beat.

“No all they do is stuff I already know.” He said to her with a sad expression covering his features. It killed Kylie that they could not afford to send Gabriel to a more advanced school due to the high cost. He was smarter than an average kid and actually had a chance to be someone in life.

“Hang in there kid. Soon you will learn something that you’ve never seen before.” She told him messing up his hair. He smacked her arm away which only made Kylie want to mess up his hair even more. Gabriel then saw the playful grin that suddenly overtook Kylie’s features, but it was too late to run since his big sister had him in her arms tickling in the places only she knows that will cause the reactions she wants. Soon Gabe gave up and apologized when he could no longer take the tickling. They stood up and went into the kitchen where their mother was cooking dinner.

Kylie said her hello to her mother and headed to her room to do her homework before going to the mall with Anthony. Hours passed by and she still didn’t even touch her homework.

She had been listing to the song she heard earlier again and again on her computer. Once again she played the events in her head. She felt the girl in her arms and regrets the moment she let her go. She saw her smile and the dimples that were shown every time the girl would smile in Kylie’s presence. She heard her mesmerizing voice that has her hypnotized.

She was brought back to her own reality when she heard the doorbell. She quickly changed to a purple sundress with matching sandals and grabbed her purse not wanting to make him wait too long. The longer she took the more time they had to spend together and Kylie wanted nothing more than to come back home as soon as possible. When she got to the living room her mom was making small talk to Anthony.

“Ready to go, Anthony?” She asked him. He simply nodded his head and said goodbye to Adriana giving her a proper handshake and a quick hug. Kylie hugged her mother goodbye and headed out the door. Adriana told Anthony to drive safely and to return Kylie no later than 10pm. Anthony agreed to the terms and closed the door after Kylie had exited the house.

At the mall, they met up with the group and immediately started their pursuit to find the perfect outfit or outfits in the girl’s case. Anthony held Kylie’s hand the entire time her hand now semi sweaty due to his body heat but of course she didn’t want to tell him this. Kylie had brought no more than $40, so she would too often say no to the stuff the girls wanted her to buy.

They were approaching the next store when Kylie heard a loud crowd. She nearly fell to the floor with laughter at the scene before her.

                                      ~~~~~ Alex – Beauty hurts ~~~~~
     The competition has been nothing but brutal. The first stage was easy. The guys wanted to throw moves at me that they thought I couldn’t do. Proving them wrong I did every move perfectly and leaving them speechless. I was laughing so hard when a guy named Pete fell on his butt as he did an Ollie which is one of the simplest skateboarding tricks. He was the first to be eliminated which only left 4 guys left to beat.
The blow was a little harder. The boys showed what they had one by one. Two were eliminated when falling to the ground their landing n as precise as it should have been or how they wanted it to play out. The tall guy whose name I have yet to learn was next and he was amazing. He landed every trick, literally leaving everyone eating his dust.
I somehow found the courage and positioned the tail of the skateboard on the top of the blow. The drop in is the most critical thing concerning the blow. If not done right, many things that can go wrong will and most likely will go wrong. After a few deep breaths I finally lean forward, going completely horizontal with the ramp face for before touching the front wheels to the face of the bowl. Then I roll down the transitioned area and onto the flat bottom of the bowl, making a successful entrance.
‘You had me worried there for a second.’ You need to learn how to have more faith in your maker.
Next, I did an Ollie above the edge of the blow briefly grabbing the board when I was at the edge. This allowed me to catch enough air while still keeping the board safely secured on my feet. After soaring across the face of the ramp, I drop back to the transitioned wall of the skateboard bowl.
I spun and sped through the course. There was a tunnel which I used to do a trick of my own. I was sliding down rails, flying through the stairs landing every trick I did managing to even surprise myself sometimes when I was sure that I would land on my butt. Now it was the guys turn to look amazed.
After all that it is now time for the ramp and I am more than a little scared. There are only two guys left, but they have proven to be the best this place has to offer. The first guy did very well until he messed up his footing and fell on his knee pads. Everyone seemed disappointed clearly knowing he could have done better but still managed to clap for his effort.
I have only been on the ramp once and had found myself falling on my butt every time tried a trick.
‘This should be good.’ You are so not helping right now. ‘I’m here for you when we are lying in a hospital bed.’ Oh man you need to learn how to do a proper pep talk. ‘Fine but you must prove me wrong first which I highly doubt you will due to your first attempt. And by the way this ramp is twice the size of the last one.’ You should have been in someone else’s head, someone who actually cares about what you have to say.
The tall guy which I now know is named Ismael stares at me. “You know you can back down at any time if you find this to be a little too difficult for you.” He says to me with a grin on his face.
“Alex you know you can do this, right? You don’t have to do this but you know you can.” I was surprised to see Mrs. Smith behind me. She looks me in the eyes and smiles. She is beaming with excitement as she sees me smiling back at her and nodding.
“Yeah I guess you’re right.” With that being said I headed towards the ramp.
Seconds later there I stood at the top of the ramp holding my skateboard in one hand upright with only one set of wheels touching the ground. Adrenalin that came out of nowhere was now also flowing through my veins as I looked down. Like in every cartoon I have ever seen I saw the bottom of the ramp slowly grown downward making my heart race faster and the sweat in my forehead to appear. I bring one foot up and rest it near the top of the board, and as I begin to let the board go, I place my other foot on the board. I jump on the board quickly and ride down enjoying every second of it. But since we live on planet earth, when I reached the other side of the ramp, gravity slowed me. At this realization I kick down the back of the board and use the other foot to turn the board 180 degrees. Then I swiftly ride down and up the other side of the ramp and repeat.
Pumping my leg I got to the end of the ramp again and did a 360 flip. I landed it perfect and went to the other end. I was flying through the air with nothing stopping me. The air felt amazing as it allowed me to go higher and faster. I slid through the edge and once again I felt the adrenaline pumping even more. I was still flying through the air when someone cleared their throat. I did one final trick and landed on my feet on the other end of the ramp.
Ismael was next. He had a smile on his face as he got on the ramp. His tricks were perfect. I was staring at him speechless the whole time he was up there. When I thought for sure he was going to win he landed wrong and fell. It was quiet for a few seconds as Ismael lay on the ram with his hands covering his face.
Then I started to punch the air. “Yes!” I won!
Half an hour later all 27 guys that were present had on a dress with heals and a wig. The wigs and make up were a nice touch. Some of the guys had on short dresses which exposed their muscular hairy legs. Some wore long dresses which brought out there eyes. The ladies in the store had their fun doing their makeup and helping me pick out the dresses, heals, wigs, and shades that matched their dresses and eyes. Ismael was by far my favorite.
He had on a red short red dress which revealed his long but hairy legs. The black heels made him stand almost 5 inches taller. His makeup was light and his lips were a shiny red. The brown wig was apparently very itchy since he scratched his head every few seconds and cussed under his breath every time he had to do so. He was frowning at me the entire time as I stood there watching the lady retouch his make-up as he crouched down for her to reach his face.
The crowd around us was massive. Everyone was laughing so hard they were almost crying.
When the time came, every guy presented themselves in front of me. I inspected them and smiled very pleased with all our efforts. They were perfect.
“OK guys, you know what to do. Oh, and next time you want to mess with me, well let’s just say it’s going to be heck of a lot worse than this.” I said focusing on every face in front of me. They all look at me with scared reactions and nod their faces again now knowing what I’m capable of doing. “Well what you are all waiting for, go!” With that said they all went stumbling down the mall. “I can’t hear you.” I say for them to perform the best part of the deal.
 “Alexandria Santiago rocks!” They all shouted in unison. I crossed my arms and smiled. ”That’s better.”
Everyone in the mall was laughing and whistled at them as they all passed by in a single file line giving the crowd a fashion show. Some including Rachel had their phones out taking pictures and video of them. I just walked admiring my work. The guys of course did not enjoy all the attention they were getting.
‘You did good kid, you did real good.’ I know right!
We followed them all through the mall. When we came across security I told them what happened and they wanted us to stop, but the crowd thought otherwise. They eventually let us keep going with the fashion show as they followed us too to keep everyone in check eventually laughing with everyone else.
“Who’s Alexandria Santiago?” someone asked curious. “She is.” Rachel says pointing at me with a little pride in both her voice and eyes. I look up to see everyone staring at me smiling and laughing. “What’s all this about?” The same person asks. A smile grew on my face as I said,
“They learned the hard way not to mess with me.”
