Chapter 9

So, to sum this shit up. The vampire queen and the lycans said they’ll make the most out of the deal.

Neptune and Nightmare wanted to stay w/ me. I had them meet up w/ the fam instead. This understandably got the lycans pissed.

They may not know much about human customs but they knew that if a potential life partner or boyfriend or girlfriend met the family things were serious.

But there wasn’t much they could do about it. So yeah we came back to the fence got and on call w/ the fam. Told them we were ok and informed them about the guests.

The fam obviously wanted details. Quite frankly the guys did too. So it took like 2 months and a week for me to let the guys be so close to me. As in I wouldn’t let them be less than 8 feet away from me.

So basically they think I warmed up to the demons a bit too fast. I’m honestly thinking the same. But regardless I ended it all by saying we’ll talk when this month of torture is over.

They were satisfied with that and then the month of misery started. We’re currently walking to the main pack camp ground. Or whatever they called it.

It’s deep as fuck into the woods. The guys and I talked in our secret language on the way. The lycans were basically used to being ignored so they weren’t all that bothered.

But that didn’t stop them from trying to make small talk here and there. But as for the Vampire queen. She wasn’t having it.

She was saying stuff like I’m the queen you can’t just ignore me. And shit along those lines. Which the guys and myself got a pretty good laugh out of.

The lycans said that since one of the mates in this weird little poly was the alpha of the pack they had to return to the pack.

They also said that they weren’t leaving their pack. This got the Queen’s attention away from me and the guys for a bit.

We even stopped talking just to hear the fight. The fight went like this.

“What do you mean you’re not leaving your pack? You guys are the vampire queen’s mates!” She said sounding frustrated.

“Your highness. If the power was reversed to where we were stronger than you. Are you saying you’d give up your duties as queen and abandon your people?” Alpha asks.

This was the first time I heard her be so respectful towards someone. I don’t even think she was this respectful towards her own mother!

“I suppose I see your point. But can’t you just get someone else to take your place?” The queen suggests.

“May I speak informally to you for a moment?” Alpha asks.

“You may.” The queen nodded and gave permission.

“This is why lycans stay away from you blood suckers. Unless we give it to you in your vampire equivalent then you don’t understand shit.” Alpha says in a bit louder and more annoyed tone.

The guys and myself had stopped and stared at her for a moment in shock. It was an extremely drastic change from respecting her as if she were a god to that.

They notice that we had stopped and we shook our heads and snapped out of it. We continued on our way.

Now this time we were more intrigued to know what happened next. We wanted to hear more faster so our pace sped up a bit.

I think the queen may have noticed this. But wether she did or didn’t she kept quiet either way.

“Do you mind explaining what you mean by our vampire equivalent a bit more?” The queen asked.

The guys and myself were surprised that she was keeping her cool after what just happened. But we kept our mouths shut and our ears opened.

“Of course your highness. So for us an alpha would be equivalent to a vampire queen or king.” Alpha states.

“How so? Oh, and do be mindful of your words.” The queen says. Her tone was pleasantly neutral like how any noble would talk normally w/ a underlining tone of a threat in her voice.

“For both you’re born w/ the bloodline to take power. It’s not some random toss a hat up and if it hits you you’re the ruler now.” Alpha informs.

“Alright, continue.” The queen encourages wishing to see where this takes her.

“And with both comes a power over your people. But also a need to protect them. Wouldn’t you agree?” Alpha asks looking at her from the corners of her eyes.

“I would.” The queen agrees.

“Wouldn’t you also agree that a duty so strong it’s more like a urge to do whatever it takes for your people regardless if you are to take the throne soon or in a very long time?” Alpha asks again.

“I would.” The queen informs.

“So when I asked would you just leave if the roles were reversed and you said no. That’s was us trying to use your vampiry thing as a way to say that we can’t just up and leave.” Alpha clarifies.

“I see. But did that really require you to call us blood suckers?” The queen asks.

“Well that kinda just came out.” Alpha states.

After this the conversation wasn’t really interesting. So the guys and I went back to keeping to ourselves. After a bit the queen tried to get us to talk to her again.

But it didn’t take long to reach out destination once this happened. Once we got there we felt the atmosphere change.

Before we knew it Alpha’s mom came out of nowhere and grabbed Steve. Then a male vampire zoomed by and grabbed Jack.

This left me confused and alone with the group that’s after me. I looked around at the 6 lycans and the vampire queen.

“Get back here!” Alpha yells. I continue running ignoring her. So after we got separated. The girls tried to cuddle me and shit.

That didn’t work out so well. This is our second day being here but I swear it’s been a week already w/ how much bullshit we had to put up w/.

Also I’m saying second because it’s been two days from the day we arrived. So I’m not counting our arrival day.

I look to my side and see the vampire queen speeding towards me. I stop and lean back having her fly over me as she jumped to try and tackle me.

“Damnit!” The queen yells pissed. I saw her land face first into the ground then took off again.

So after the day we arrived. It wasn’t so bad. Basically they got closer to me than what they’ve done before after realizing getting too close too soon would push me away.

They led me to my room. That was normal. But they tried to share the room. I got them out then went to bed. But when I woke up the next morning they were cuddled up to me.

I wiggled out then left. When they woke up they went ballistic. They were freaking out because they didn’t know where I had went.

But I wasn’t fazed much. But when they finally found me. They tried to tackle me! I dodged but they kept trying to grab or tackle me.

So naturally I ran from them. But while running I ran into the guys. We all went and hid somewhere. Then our conversation went like this.

“Hey guys how are you guys steering?” I ask.

“We want to fucking go home.” They both answer.

“What happened to you guys?” I ask. I’m not trying to be like why do you want to go home. I just want to know what they’re dealing w/.

“He tried to fuck me as soon as he got me.” Jack says. My eyes widen immensely.

“What!?” Steve and I cried out.

“Are you ok?!”

“Did he actually you know do it?!”

“Where he at?! I’ll kill him!”

“Do we need to take you to a doctor to make sure he didn’t hurt you more than what you thought?!”

Steve and I rapid shot questions at him. We were panicking quite a bit. Until Jack stopped us.

“Calm down you two. He didn’t get what he wanted.” Jack says. We sighed in relief.

“But yeah same thing basically w/ Alpha’s mom. And before you start no she didn’t succeed. But..” Steve says.

“But what?” I ask as Jack and I lean closer.

“Turns out alpha has moms. And one of them is like you Neo.” He says. My eyes widen.

“What..? Seriously?!” I ask in disbelief.

“Yeah.” He replies. Both he and Jack are monitoring me to see my reaction.

“Fucking hell. Anyways so those girls just broke into my room and cuddled me.” I say.

“Wow you’re not reacting like how we thought you would.” Jack chuckles.

“That’s because I’m more concerned about how we’re going to survive a while fucking month.” I answer the underlying question and punch Jack’s arm playfully.

We all got a good little chuckle from that. We just chatted for a bit after that. But then they found us. But I did get a chance to get a good look at the male vampire.

He wasn’t all that impressive. The only thing to really take note of was how his hair was slick back but you could tell it was natural w/ out help from any type of gel or anything.

And I guess how he had a beginning of an athletic body. But other than that he more closely resembles a twig. But knowing how fast vampires are and how strong they are.

Let’s just say when I gave him a quick up and down gave them enough time to know something was up. But they still didn’t move fast enough.

As soon as my inspection was done I teleported to him. He was able to blink and begin to widen his eyes but that’s all before I smashed then pinned him to a tree by his neck.

“Woah woah woah! Hey why do you have my brother pinned by the neck to a tree!?” The queen asks. I don’t answer her. Instead I lean in closer to the male vampire.

“IF YOU EVER! TRY TO FUCK MY FRIEND AGAIN I WILL PERSONALLY END YOUR BLOODLINE.” I threaten him in such a low whisper I could tell that he was straining to hear me.

Even though I was talking directly into his ear. When I moved away I saw him w/ a face of pure horror. I walked away from him as if nothing happened.

I looked over my shoulder at Alpha’s mom and glared pointedly at her. She got the silent hint and shrunk back. Alpha saw this and went to her mom. You can tell the group after me were extremely confused.

“What’s going on. What’s w/ you threatening these guys for nothing?” Alpha asks. The guys cleared their throats then cracked their knuckles and glared at her.

Alpha told the other lycans what they saw the other day. So they and the queen gulped and backed up. After that scene we ran again.

After we got some distance they realized that they were trying to get who they wanted back. So they soon started chasing us again.

Then the next day which is today. We woke up or I should say I woke up and was in a new place and in the middle of a huge cuddle pile. Deja Vu anyone? I thought w/ an eye roll.

I tried getting up but this time I wasn’t as successful. The lycans woke up and the queen came in w/ breakfast.

The lycans started eating. They and the queen soon realized I wasn’t eating and was trying to get up. They said eat and we’ll let you up.

Me being me, I stubbornly struggled harder and swiped away their hands every time they tried to feed me. Then Alpha said something that made me freeze.

“You can either eat or tell us which of my moms is like you.” She’s looking at me like a man on a mission. I just look at her shocked.

After a bit I bit and headbutted two is the lycans and ran out.

*Extremely high pitch whistle.*

My whistle was so high pitched that it actually caused the lycans around me to whimper.

But I didn’t really care all that much. Thankfully as soon as the whistle stopped the guys were at my side. I had them jump onto my back and then I full on sprinted.

I took us to a pond pretty far away from the pack.

“What’s wrong?” Steve asks.

“Either they heard or someone did and told them!” I rush out panicked.

“Heard what told who?” Jack asks.

“That one of alpha’s moms is like me!” I panic more as I say this. Their faces drop and pale.

“How did you find out?” Steve asks.

“Alpha made a comment about telling her which of her moms is like me or eating.” I answer calming down a bit.

“And what did you do? We know you didn’t eat shit.” Jack says.

“I bit and headbutted two of them.” I say and look away from them.

“What!?” The guys chorus.

“I panicked!” I defend myself. They sigh and just look at me like really. We talked about what we were going to do now. We decided and then we started heading back to the pack.

It didn’t take us long to get back. At least it felt like it didn’t take us long. We kinda figured what was waiting for us when we returned.

But we also could guess what might happen if we didn’t and they found us. I’m telling you this now. For a place w/ no technology whatsoever. They seemed to know exactly when our feet crossed over the threshold of their camp grounds.

Or whatever they call it. But seriously as soon as a single blade of grass was touched by our foot they appeared. They all had relatively pissed faces.

We didn’t really care about that though. But something drew my attention. I looked over and behind alpha’s mom was another lady who looked more timid.

Steve immediately informed me w/ our secret language that the new woman was alpha’s other mom. But also informed me that she was also the one like me.

I nodded. Alpha seemed to notice our behavior and decided to get to the bottom of it.

“What’s going on? Did he say something about my mother?” Alpha asked but her voice had an underlying threatening tone to it.

I ignored her. I was actually still watching the other mom. Something about her was different. It took me a bit but I realized she better resembled omega rather than alpha.

In regards to her personality that is. I made note of and pointed it out to the guys. They agreed w/ me. The fact that she was ignored and that one of her moms was being talked about.

Must have really pissed alpha off. We looked over at her as she spoked w/ a red face.

“I’m starting to think you guys are forgetting something very important.” She grumbled. We looked at her confused.

Now the reason we were so confused is because well, it’s us. We do what we want when we want. We stay w/ ourselves and keep things to ourselves.

So it’s like what do you know that we don’t. Because the way she said that had us thinking we were missing some important information.

Or maybe and just maybe. We forgot to talk in our secret language. Now if we did forget to do that it’s not like we’d just talk to them.

After all Steve was talking to alpha’s mom #1. Before he found out that she was taking a liking and decided to go mute. Also we decided we’ll call alpha’s moms 1 or 2.

The number is based on who we met first. I mean after all we’re not going to bother learning their names. Like we’re not going to see them ever again after this month so why bother.

Pretty soon after a few seconds of looking at her confused alpha spoke again.

“I think you guys forgot that we’re actually the ones in control. And that we’ve only been catering to you to better our odds. If we truly wanted to or needed to we’d just chain you guys up.” She said.

Now the guys and I were shocked. We couldn’t believe she honestly thought she had any power whatsoever. Especially when we were involved.

Our shock soon turned into laughter. Alpha must have thought our shock was us ‘realizing’ that they were just letting us think we had some power. The next thing she said was.

“W-what are you guys laughing about!?” She had a confused and angry tone in her voice. But honestly it was pretty funny. So we only ended up laughing harder.

Once our laughter died out we looked at alpha. We didn’t have glares for say. It’s more like a face of someone who’s completely psychotic and knows it.

But they embrace it instead of trying to get help for it. But they have a face of pure joy and ecstasy on their face as they look at their new victim.

She flinched back. Steve being the only one of us who has talked in front of the one that chasing them was appointed our collective voice.

Steve walked up to alpha w/ calculated steps. Once he got close enough he pinned her to a nearby tree.

“Who do you think you are?” Steve asked alpha.

“W-what do you mean?! I’m the-!” Alpha starts.

“You’re the what? Alpha? Big deal. Let me tell you something. The moment something concerns us. We become the bosses, the.. Alphas~. Got that?” Steve says. He added empathizes on the word alphas for a reason.

We learnt that that title is of great importance. So the purpose of using that word was to demean her and strip her of her title that she’s oh so proud of.

But the way he said it showed how little we care for the title. But how easy it was for us to take. Then had a hint of daring her to fight us on it.

Alpha realizing that she had no power in our eyes whatsoever and realizing she’d only further embarrass herself otherwise, shrunk down and accepted defeat.

After that it was relative smoother sailings.
