Chapter 1

Aurora de Luca

Date of Birth – March 17th, 2003 (22 years old)

Place of Birth – Florenz, Italy

Barcelona – No. 28
Italy – No. 28

Aurora de Luca, a 22-year-old Italian footballer, is beginning a brand-new chapter in her career as she joins FC Barcelona Femení this season after moving from Manchester United. The season has not started yet, and everything still feels new – the city, the club, the language, and the people around her.

Quiet and naturally shy, Aurora prefers to observe before she speaks. She finds comfort in simple things: the sound of the sea, long walks on the beach, and the feeling of a football at her feet. Football has always been her safe place – where she feels most confident and understood.

Off the pitch, Aurora is gentle and thoughtful, with a soft sense of humor that only shows once she feels at ease. She is deeply loyal to the people she cares about, even if it takes time for her to let them in. By her side is her Australian Shepherd, Luna, her constant companion and a small piece of home in a new country.

In Barcelona, Aurora doesn’t know anyone yet. She is stepping into the unknown, carrying her dreams quietly, hoping that with time, patience, and football, she will find her place.

Alexia Putellas

Date of Birth – February 4th, 1994
Place of Birth – Mollet del Vallés, Spain

Barcelona – No. 11
Spain – No. 11

Alexia Putellas – La Reina – is the heart of FC Barcelona Femení. Born in Mollet del Vallès, raised in Catalonia, and shaped by La Masia, she has grown into one of the most influential players in the history of women’s football. A Ballon d’Or winner, a leader, and a symbol of Barça’s identity, Alexia carries expectations that few players ever experience.

Recently, she has returned from a long and demanding recovery after a serious ACL injury. Physically fit again, she is still navigating the mental weight that comes with it – the pressure to perform, to lead, to be decisive every single day. Her standards have never been low, but now they are sharper than ever, directed both inward and toward the team around her.

On the pitch, Alexia is intense, disciplined, and uncompromising. She expects absolute focus, commitment, and courage – not only from herself, but from everyone wearing the Barça badge. Training sessions are demanding, words are chosen carefully, and mistakes are noticed immediately. There is little room for hesitation.

At this moment, Alexia is focused above all else on finding her rhythm again, trusting her body, and carrying the responsibility that comes with being La Reina. The pressure is constant, the expectations relentless – and she faces it head-on, with determination, pride, and an unwavering sense of duty to the club.

Luna

1,5 years old

Australian Sheperd

Luna is Aurora’s Australian Shepherd – small, fluffy, and full of energy. She is incredibly playful and curious, always ready to run, jump, or turn anything into a game. Luna loves learning new tricks and already knows many of them, picking them up quickly with bright eyes and endless enthusiasm.

Despite her energy, she is very well trained and listens carefully, especially to Aurora. And when the day slows down, Luna turns into the perfect cuddle partner, curling up close and happily staying there for as long as she’s allowed to.
