Aria’s P.O.V

During my life I always struggled physically. I could easily get hurt by the simplest or strenuous task.

It took some time for Yoriichi to train this out of me as my body had to be strong to be a student under him.

Everyday I would run until I almost collapse. Would do push ups until my arms just gave out. Do Squats until my legs would just buckle from under me.

Everyday I tested and strained my body to the extreme with no regard of the pain that it brought me.

When you need to survive there’s only such much pain you can pay attention to.

When it came weapon training, Yoriichi decided that it should train at a school since he usually taught weapon training there.

I followed as I would have school at home and training at school for a bit. With this time, I met many students and made some friends. I even gained the title ghastly cold beauty which Yoriichi had explain to me what it was.
When club activities was over, I would always take my time training myself more since the school at the dojo was more bright then the one at home.

Something I always liked to practice there was archery. It was the most calming and relaxing weapon I could use with out over stressing myself.

‘Hm, Did I fall asleep while standing? That never happened before.’ I thought as looked around and noticed the range was empty.

‘Hm, Seems it’s still empty. Yoriichi isn’t here yet which means I still have some time to myself.’ I thought as knocked and arrow on the long bow and launched it hitting a straight bullseye in the center.

It was after that I was suddenly shocked when I heard some clapping coming from behind me.

Making me snap my head to see that it was one of my dear friends, Nukumi Hasegawa.

“Nukumi? What are you still doing here?” I asked her as she looked towards me with a smile and a small blush.

“O-Oh no reason, I just felt like staying back a bit longer before going home…” She said making me hum in acknowledgement.

Walking over to the target, I unplugged my arrow before walking back to the range.

I was going to start packing up my things when I was stopped.

“Aria!” Nukumi called out for me making me look towards her with a curious look.

“Hm?” I responded.

She didn’t say anything at first as she just stared down at the ground with a slightly bigger blush.

“Did you need somthing?” I asked facing her completely.

“Eh… since summer vacation starts soon… I really wanted to…” She trailed.

“You wanted to hit the target? But didn’t you already accomplish that?” I said as I do remember her hitting a bullseye many times before.

“No,not that…” She said making raise a brow in curiosity.

“Isn’t it obvious?” She asked as I just stared at her.

“Isn’t what obvious Nukumi? Did you perhaps forget something as well?” I asked as she just sighed.

“Aria…”She sighed as I stared at her.

‘Seems my guess was wrong that tike as well. Just what could she need that is so obvious to her for some reason?’ I thought.

“So what is it?” I asked patiently as I took in her details.

‘Hm, she’s still wearing that side ponytail. I do recall saying it made her look very prettier.’ I thought as she looked me in the eyes with a blushing face.

“I’ve always… admired you, I like you so… please go out with me!” She said making me look at her blankly as my head processed her words.

‘Oh…’I thought now seeing what she had just asked me making me blush slightly.

‘I knew that I attracted some attention with my looks and attitude, but I didn’t think I’ll ever get asked out. Yoriichi told me it was nice title to have so I would not have to bother with love letters everyday.’ I thought as I was contemplating everything currently.

“Aria?” She called out for me pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Uh, oh, sorry… Nukumi, I-I can’t accept your feelings. I don’t really view you like that currently… and I prefer not to lead you on if we do go out.” I said as I looked towards her face only to see she was now crying.

‘Wait, don’t cry Nukumi… I’m sorry…’ I thought.

“I can’t accept that!” She said her whole mood doing a 180 much to confusion.

“Eh?” I said confused.

“Just give me a try! Like that you can start liking me aswell.” She said making me stare towards her.

“Or… is there someone you’re already interested in…?” She said making shake my head, but the apparent image of her crying kept resurfacing.

“No, there isn’t anyone currently.” I said

“Isn’t it fine then? Just give me a chance” she said making me give a wryly smile as her boobs we’re pressed against my own.

I blushed at this, as she stared at me straight in my eyes.

“You can always reject me later if things don’t work out, I won’t even be upset.” She told me.

“Hum, But why me though? Why did you” I asked as the image of her cry surfaced.

“It’s because of how you look when you draw your bow… When I saw it the first time, I couldn’t take my eyes away. Not to mention the way you are with every other weapon club. Everytime I laid my eyes on you, I just wanted to get to know you more and more. That’s the reason I joined the archery club.” She explained as the image of her crying laid bare to me.

“Aria?” Her voice pulled me back.

“I see… it’s nice to know some likes my styles. Thank you, Nukumi. You should start heading home now it’s getting late.” I said as she giggled and gave me a kiss on my cheek.

“It’s no problem, I feel alot better after talking to you. Aria, let’s have alot of fun during summer vacation!” She said ss I gave a her a smile.

“Sure, I look forward to it.” I said as she walked away with happiness in each of her steps.

As soon as she was out of sight and I felt no presence near me my smile fell and lone tear shed from my eye.

‘This isn’t real, this is all fake.’ I thought as my hand crushed the arrow in my hand.

‘Cause when this event happened… I had made Nukumi cry…’ I thought as narrowed my eyes before sweeping my hand to make the mist around me disperse bringing me back to reality.

‘Due to this fight, I’m now able to understand the power Lord Tsukuyomi gave me. I can create a field of some sorts around me that allows me to whateverI wish inside it….Search.’ I thought as the dome around me expanded and allowed me to see everything.

‘I can find enemies, structures and other things like a radar or scout without the opponent or enemies knowing.’ I thought as I soon found the weak spot of the transparent cube I was in.

‘I can use it strengthen myself and attacks.’ I thought as I pulled out my Mithril blade and ignited it in a raging blaze.

‘Flame Breathing 2nd Form: Rising Scorching Sun!‘ I thought as I did a blazing arcing sword slash upwards.

That critically damaged the cube as it started to fall apart.

‘Thank you Shin, for showing how truly pathetic I still am to still think I can get love. Now let me finish what I started!’ I thought as the cube started to be destroyed faster making an opening as I walked through it with cold eyes.

“Hi.” I said greeting Shin coldly as I was about to attack, only to stop when I laid my eyes on it.

I stared at it as it stared at me making me sweat drop.

“What’s with that stupid pose and eyes?” I asked blankly as Shin was on it’s back with it’s legs in the air trying to copy what I think is a dog?

“I think it’s called show you belly technique.” It said confusing me more.

“…What?” I said truly confused.

“Please forgive me and lay down your weapons, I don’t wish to fight anymore.” It said making me look at it strangely.

“I don’t know what you saw, but it appears there was something unpleasant about that illusion. I sincerely apologize for that.” It apologized making me look at it with a raised brow.

“Wait, you don’t what I saw? Didn’t you choose to show me that?” I questioned.

“I merely create a space where you can see an illusion, but the details of it’s content are created by your own thoughts.” It explained making my eyes widened

“Meaning that…” I trailed.

“It uses your memories to show whatever you desire.” It told me making me sigh.

‘So I crave love… romantical love… heh how crazy I am.’ I thought.

“I will apologize for looking at your memories. Woman from another world, My name is Shin. An ArchDragon regarded as being invincible.” It introduced itself.

“I’m Aria Bloodhaven, as you already have knowledge of I’m from another world.” I introduced.

“By the Aria, would you like to form a contract with me?” It asked me making me raise a brow

“A Contract? This is sudden…”I said narrowing my eyes up towards it.

“A Contract is a special spell that binds us together with an oath and grants you special powers. If we are equals, we will be sworn to work together and your powers will be boosted. Even if we aren’t equals, you will still receive a power boost just with limitations.” It explained.

“In short terms?” I questioned.

“I’ll become your comrade, remember I’m an ArchDragon. You have nothing to lose” It told me as I stared at it.

“If you want to travel the world. I’m sure there are many who’d like to join you. Why me exactly?” I questioned.

“I’m deeply interested in your memories. You’re the best traveling companion I could ask for.” It told me with a mischievous smile.

“…I feel like I’m being black mailed… just what memories do you see exactly?” I asked sweat dropping.

“What do you think? I believe we both will gain somthing from this.” It said as I just stared at it.

“Or I could just kill you?”I suggested as it sweat dropped.

“Just accept the contract, please.” It said making me sigh.

“Fine, From now on I’ll be counting on you.” I said giving the Dragon’s hand a five as it held it put for me.

“Me too. May our partnership last forever.” It said making me nod as I acknowledged it’s words.

“I shall now lead the contract ritual now.” It said as it began to surround us both in blue lights.

Soon there was cancelation sound making me raise a brow as the color changed to yellow.

The same sound rung making Shin sweat drop as the color then changed to red.

‘Hm, I feel like somthing is connecting to me now.’ I thought as screens then appeared infront of me.

Reading the screens I gave a small smile as a light engulfed Shin and started to make it go smaller.

The scales on it’s body falling onto the ground as coming out of the smoke stood a beautiful woman.

“Once again, It’s a pleasure to meet you. My Mistress, Aria.” The Woman or rather Shin said as I stared at her.

‘Well this certainly took a turn that I did not expect.’
