Aria’s P.O.V

After crying for who knows how long, I returned to the special space which luckily no one was around at where I was as I wasn’t in my best state…

My eyes we’re puffy as the tear stains showed on my face. My face was a little swelled, but nothing some major time alone wouldn’t fix…

‘The other’s can handle the rest by themselves… I need to go…’ I thought as I placed away my tails and brought out my hybrid Dragon transformation.

I immediately jumped up into the sky. As I soared far away from where everyone was. I needed to be away for bit before returning…

-The Next Day-

After spending the night in a cave I found. I woke up with not the best start.

My hair was down and a mess, I was covered in dirt, and some of the remains of mourning was still present on my face.

Giving a tired sigh, I could only stand up a bit wobbly before heading off to a nearby lake.

It didn’t take to long to reach it as I had found it on way over here.

Stripping out of my armor or dress and my underwear. I was left bare as I then walked into the water allowing the warmth it collected from the shining sun to encompass my body as I gave a content sigh in satisfaction.

Letting my body soak in the water for a bit, I decided to see what I missed on the system last night.

Seeing my status board, I could only sigh.

‘I see you couldn’t give me anything to help me currently, but it’s fine.’ I thought as I rembered that I’m now able to utilize my healing magic on other’s now. Not mentioning that I unlocked one of my Zanpakutos Shikai name.

‘I should probably start heading back… A funeral is in order for those two…’ I thought as I used the water to clean the dirt off myself and used some alchemy to make some soap using some spare ingredients I had in my inventory.

Once I was done, I got out the water using Sky Magic to dry off before placing back on my clothing and undies.

Giving a sigh, I glanced over to where the cave was.

‘Whenever I get a chance, I’ll definitely come here to make. Place out of you.’ I thought before jumping up in air and using Sky Magic to keep me high.

‘Alright let’s go off.’ I thought as I then zoomed through the air using only Sky Magic to go where I need to.

When I had returned, I had held a feast for the departed souls. Where we all came and mourned the dead like funeral.

Luckily… or not the Young Orc and My little one we’re the only ones to be mourned that day.

It saddned me deeply to be doing this for them both, but they we’re dead and I would have accept that. No matter which world you go in, lost is inevitable.

So make sure something like this never happened again, I had to start making plans and readjustments.

A two weeks have passed since the feast.

During these weeks I have not only acquired more skills, power, and items, but also made the Special Space more safer and secure.

The Alkey’s since they have human forms that they now have very great control over. Are to act like hired adventurers staying in the place so they can not only lessen the dislike of the humans coming in here, but to also gather information and protect what is needed if need be.

The Mistio Lizardmen, are patrolling around the place as guardsmen in place of Tomoe. Though I feel like she inspired them to do this off of those period dramas of hers.

Then there’s the walls I had built using Earth Dragon Slayer Magic and some other skills. To isolate the City in the Mist from the rest of the plane. I made sure to place an enchantment for that if anyone unauthorized decides to walk out of it gets thrown right out of the realm with no hesitation.

I wasn’t taking any chances of what happened last time to reoccur again.

Currently I was infront of Haruna as she reported to me about some of the information they gathered already which wasn’t much use since I wasn’t going to be participating any war unless it involved my home.

Nodding at her words I gave a small smile.

“Good job, Haruna. It may not be much now, but it will be useful if we ever need it.” I told her making her smile

“Thank you, Young Miss. I feel honored to be given such praise.” She said making me shake my head.

“So… how is Hokuto?” I asked her.

“Thanks to the Young Miss, Hokuto has recovered though he will still have take his time until he is completely healed.” She told me making me nod.

“Let him take all the time he needs. I don’t want him moving at all if Minato or myself don’t dismiss him to.” I told her making her giggle as she smiled.

Standing up, she bowed infront of me.

“Young Miss, all of us wish to thank you again for saving one of our people.” Haruna said as I shook my head and lifted her out of the bow ith my tail.

“Please raise your head. It was my fault such an incident happened in the first place.” I told her.

“I should really be the one apologizing, instead of receiving any type of thanks.” I said with a soft smile.

“So humble… Thank you for your compassion. This reaffirms that we made the right choice to serve you!” She said happily as I gave a wryly smile.

‘I hope so too.’ I thought.

Currently I was now in the dwarfs workshop for inspections.

“Oh, The Young Miss has come with Shiki for an inspection.” Erd said as I gave a small smile while Shiki aka the former Lich gave a small bow.

“Yes, I invited you guys to the feast of departed souls, but that wasn’t the best place or time to talk.” I said as my emotions we’re still a bit shaky back then.

“So how’s everything coming along with the waste warehouses?” I asked him.

“As you pointed out the other day, we we’re sloppy with disposing of those weapons and armor and we’re thinking about it.” He told me.

“We’ll dispose of things as soon as we can and the ones that’ll take time will be locked away in a vault far from the workshop and any houses. The things that might explode will be kept in different vaults. Each vault will have mechanisms for putting out fires and walls that can absorb a blast.” He told me as I nodded.

“Great, that should do for the time being. I’ll also add some enchantments to help out as well.” I told him as he nodded.

“I also looked at the catalog of stolen weapons, but it seems the things dwarves consider worthless or trash is valuable to humans. So try to avoid making anything too valuable for the company.” I told them before remembering something else.

“Oh, and what about the place for younger inexperienced dwarves to train? Can you deal with that Beren? I’ll help if need be.” I told him.

“Yes! I will be sure to live up to your expectations!” He sId giving a small smile and giggled.

“No need to get like that Beren, just take your time with it.” I told him with a soft smile.

I was now in the Orc neighborhood walking around as I following a peculiar scent.

“Huh? Young Miss? I didn’t think our district was due for an inspection.” The Orc said as I stared towards him and shook my head with a soft smile.

“Don’t worry, I’m not here for that… You we’re with that Orc from back then, right?” I asked him already knowing the answer as he was the scent I was following.

“…I had went to apologize to his parents for that explosion.” I told him.

“Young Miss, He was… It may not have been intentional, but he was prepared to die for you, Young Miss. It’s the same for me. We would all prefer if you didn’t worry about it.” He told me as he gave me a small bow.

“Heh… Tomoe and his parents said the same thing. If something like that happens again, I won’t go around giving individual apologies, but could you accept my apology this time as my way of realizing my mistake?” I asked him as I unconsciously clenched my fist.

‘I don’t think I’ll be able to move on unless otherwise…’ I thought

“Because I hadn’t tried to understand the situation, Your friend met such an unfortunate end.” I said giving a bow.

“…Young Miss, instead of an apology, offer him words of praise.” The Orc told me as I lifted up and stared at him.

“Heh… yeah, Thanks for protecting this place, Hayato.” I said with a smile as I watched the Orc children run around playing freely without much care at all.

After doing all of that I was finally almost done with my work here.

“Like the Forest Ogres?” Shiki questioned.

“I guess, but until we can find a complete counter measure for that ability. It’s very ify if they will come in here.” I told him.

“Also some of them are Demon supporters, I’m not picking any sides and neither am I participating in a needless war instigated by that brat’s stupid decision to favor one over the other.” I told him.

“Actually I just remembered that Tomoe said she had an idea about that. Oh right, we’re gonna be training with the forest Ogres later, do you want to…” I was about ask, but trailed upon seeing his expression.

“Hm? Is something wrong Shiki?” I asked him.

“It’s nothing. I wasn’t invited though, and I was going to help Minato with adjusting the medicines that’ll be sold in the store. Oh, we also need to hurry with analyzing tree punishment.” He told me making give a wryly smile.

“Well alright, I’m counting on you both to do that.” I said.

“Thank you!” He said bowing to me for some reason as I just stared at him confused.

Tomoe’s P.O.V

Currently I was in the Forest Ogre Village as I was having a meeting with Nilgistry.

“While he was my son, Adonou was so foolish. Mondo had learned of his connection to the demons, but even without this incident, our tribe would likely have ended up being split.” He told me.

“We’ve come to an agreement with the elders that Adonou persuaded, but there are still some young folks that support him…” He said as I have a small grin.

“I actually have an idea regarding that. We’re going to do some training in our dimension, so why don’t you send over them and the strongest forest ogres.” I told him with a mischievous smile.

Aria’s P.O.V

“Hey, I have to go around noon, is that fine?” I asked.

“I had promised to meet Patrick in the afternoon.” I told them as I stood side by side with Mio and Tomoe.

“Dealing with weaklings isn’t exciting.” Mio said as we stared at the forest ogres.

“…We’re here to observe your training, right?” Mondo said as it was hard to tell that he wasn’t really happy to be here.

“We’re putting that off, instead we’ll test how strong you are today. If you don’t meet our standards, we’ll be training you.” Tomoe told him shocking him and the others.

“Wh- … Are you not satisfied with us?” He asked.

“Just listen, this will be simple. The fifteen of you will split up into three groups of five and face Miss Aria, Mio, or myself.” She told him.

“Sounds great! I was wondering just how strong That Miss Aria is.” He said as I raised my brow.

“I see” Tomoe laughed as Mio hid her face behind a fan.

‘Why did he have to be unconscious during that event.’ I thought.

“Now let me tell you what we expect.” Tomoe said.

“You better not complain after we beat you.” Mondo said making me give a small smile.

“Oh? Of course, The loser doesn’t get to complain.” Tomoe told him with a grin.

“For the teams facing me or Mio, it’s down to making it obvious that we lost, like bringing us down to our knees. With Mistress Aria, you just need to land a hit on her.” Tomoe said making my eyes widen.

“A single hit? Hm… okay.” I said with a shrug.

“The time limit is noon. If you fail, you’ll follow my training regime after then.” She told them.

“You’re really looking down on us.” Mondo said.

“Oh and anything goes, we also won’t Inflict any fatal wounds. All your wounds will be healed, so don’t worry.” Tomoe said.

“… Fine, don’t regret it.” Mondo said irrated.

After watching them walk away to form groups I turned my attention to Tomoe.

“So, are you planning to introduce them into the ranking after breaking their spirits?” I asked her.

“Of course not! They’re fools. They’ve been influenced by humans in the worst way, so they can’t see true strength. They still haven’t they can’t escape from here. We’ll need to show them their place before we can brea- properly train them.” She said as I stared at her.

“You we’re going to say breaking them in, weren’t you?” I asked only for her to chuckle wryly.

Making me sigh as I cupped her face and placed a soft kiss on her forehead making her blush from my sudden action.

“Just be careful, you may have recovered, but we don’t know if what happened has any after affects.” I told her as she nodded her head.

“Good, same goes to you Mio. Beat them up well.” I said placing a kiss on her head as well.

“As you wish, Young Miss~.” She said.

“This training is called Omoe Ria boot camp! It was based off of Shiki’s Physical and emotional strength. They’ll only be brought to the brink of death.” Tomoe said as I finally understood Shiki’s expression.

‘The first test subject…’ I thought.

“We formed are teams. We’ll be facing Mistress Aria.” Mondo said as I shrugged.

‘Thought so.’ I thought.

“But first, I have a request.” He said making me raise a brow.

“To properly hold back, I need to know what you can handle. Try punching me once.” He said making stare a him.

“Hm, Okay, I’ll grant your wish.” I said canceling my Sakai and other strengthing skills leaving just me and all my racial strength.

He just stood there with his arms folded as I walked up to him.

“Clench your teeth.” I said as warning making him raise a brow before my fist flashed.

And slammed it against his face sending him flying backwards rolling way back into the forest.

“Eh?” I said as his body kept going until we heard a loud crash from within the forest saying that he either came to a stop of completely went through a tree.

‘Oh forgot… Shiki was still inside him back then… probably should of held back more…’ I thought.

“You said you wouldn’t kill anyone, you coward!” Eris said as all the forest ogres went to go check on Mondo.

Once they we’re out of hearing range, Tomoe immediately busted out laughing.

“Oh, I wonder how they will react if they learn that wasn’t even half.” Tomoe said as Mio gave a small giggle as well.

“Let’s just keep that betwen us for now.” I told them with a wryly smile.

I sat as immediately after the Noble Phantasm of Atalanta showed it’s worth. As it started to rain thousands of arrows of light down on the Orges making me give a wryly smile as I heard their screams.

‘Hm, I guess it’s only satisfying with Tomoe and Mio.’ I thought as after a couple of seconds the attack faded away leaving nothing, but a giant dust cloud and multiple wounded Ogres.

‘Job, completed.’ I thought.
