Aria’s P.O.V

Right now I was standing infront of Rembrant Company store as I stared at Hazel who seemed to be having some type of internal crisis.

‘Wonder what’s up with him?’ I thought.

“Please tell me sooner that your client was the Rembrant Company!” He told me as I raised a brow.

[Hm? Oh I did forget to place that in last night. But also you never asked so it’s your fault as well. Are you worried about the rumors or something?] I asked.

“Even ignoring that, we’re dealing with a massive company here!” He said making me shrug as any company can be brought down whether physical or not.

Soon Moris arrived with a beautiful styled carriage.

“Sorry for the wait, I’ve prepared a carriage, so let’s head over to the house.” Moris said as Hazal looked like he just saw death infront of him.

‘Even if they can call damage to you, aren’t a bit too nervous about this?’ I thought shaking my head as I went into the carriage with Hazal following me right from behind.

-Time Skip-

We were now in Patrick’s mansion which was very big.

[I didn’t expect for their property and estate to be this big.] I commented as Hazel looked like he was loosing his life just from being in here.

“Of course you’re new to Tsilge after all…They’re so big that if you upset them, you’ll have a hard time living here…” Hazal said making me nod in understanding.

‘Due to his business reaching out and selling in many branches of business it’s understandable how he can do such.’ I thought.

“And we’re here to make a secret medicine for that giant company! I just can’t calm down at all…” He said making me sigh as I just patted his head with some hopes that it would help him which it did a little bit.

[There’s nothing to worry about, the requirement to make the medicine is 80, which you are already over.] I told him though he was still sweating nervously.

“Sorry for the wait. Everything’s prepared, so let’s head down stairs.” Patrick came in and said as I nodded before glancing at Hazel..

‘He looks like he’s about to be on death row.’ I thought.

“I recall that you had an intrest in this, Aria. So please come along with Hazal.” Patrick said as I nodded and rose from my seat.

[Let’s go, Hazel.] I told him as he sweat dropped, but nodded following me as I followed Patrick to the basement.

Upon arriving you could see various tools and resources out and ready for use.

“I’ll leave Moris here with you. I’d like to stay with my wife and daughters. I am… counting on you…” Patrick said giving a small bow.

“L-Lea-Leave it to mhee!” Hazal responded nervously.

‘Man this guy…’ I thought seeing his skin going even paler from responding.

“All the ingredients have been gathered here. We have obtained spares of everything except the eyes just in case.” Moris told us.

‘Hm, Seems I may actually be able to test my own Alchemy abilities in this.’ I thought.

“And this is the recipe for Ambrosia.” Moris said handing Hazal a card.

“Hm, Mix the fluid from the eyes with several varieties of alcoholic medicines and then cool it little by little…”Hazal read making me raise a brow.

‘Is that truly all there is?’ I thought.

“I-Is this all?” Hazal asked.

“Yes, the extraction of the ingredients is the most difficult part, the rest is far easier. Because of that, we intend to create and administer the ambrosia today.” Moris explained.

‘Hm, I guess I can understand that since Ruby Eyes are rare.’ I thought.

“Alright, I’ll start preparing the room with a spell. I’d like the assistants to stand in the magic circle and supply it with their mana.” Hazal said as he then began to chant.

‘Hm, I guess for regular Alchemy having a fixed temperature and sterilized room is standard. Though that chant is very long, and insufficient.’ I thought.

‘He’s wasting so much mana just to do this… also why does every spell have to literate that brat! Forget her if she makes the chant last this long.’ I thought.

‘Casting somthing like that should be simple snap in a instant.’ I thought doing such a action as a small red Magic circle appeared and disappeared just as quickly.

“Hm? It felt like the magic to stabilize the temperature finished just now.” Hazal pointed.

[Hm? Your probably just imagining it.] I told him.

As he just shrugged and continued. Holding one of the eyes to the Ruby Eyes he cut two small slits down it before placing it on a tool that began to drain the fluids in the eye.

‘This process is also pretty wasteful as well. Looking at how much fluids it producing I can guess that it may be possible to make more than just one Ambrosia from two eyes.’ I thought.

“Is this the most up-to-date process?” Hazal asked.

“It is. When the Ambrosia flower became exceedingly difficult to obtain. The Ruby Eyes’s eyes became a substitute from what I heard.” Moris explained.

“I see, so that’s why this process is so wasteful…”Hazal commented making nod in agreement.

“…I feel it would be possible to create an extra potion if we improve it a little bit, but just in case let’s finish the job using this recipe.” Hazal said.

[Moris, Question, What are these Ambrosia Flowers?] I asked.

“The original recipe called for the nectar of a flower called Ambrosia, but now we instead use the eyes of Ruby Eyes, A subspecies of red bees that feed primarily on that nectar.” He explained.

‘Hm, so that’s why they are substitute. They feed of the nectar of said rare flower.’ I thought.

“We can find where the Ambrosia flower grows using Ruby Eyes, but the fact that you might run into a swarm of them means it’s difficult to obtain any. Defeating that swarm would require a significant number of skilled individuals.” He told me.

[Sounds tough, though I can see that.] I thought.

‘I’ll have to ask Tomoe or Mio to go out and find some later. Having such a miraculous healing medicine will be very profitable.’ I thought.

-Small Time Skip-

Soon one of the potions we’re finished.

“I’ve finished one of them.” Hazal said as I stared at the small bottle with golden fluid.

“Ooh! I-in that case, I’ll immediately take it to the master!” Moris said as I stared at Hazal who seemed to be a train wreck after making the first one.

‘Hm, Tonoe once said that ancient language was somtimes used as code, let’s try it out.’ I thought.

“Looks like it went well.” I spoke surprising Hazal.

“That’s… not a spell!” Hazal said shocked.

“You’re capable of speaking normally in the ancient language, Aria?” He asked me.

“Yes, Due to some circumstances stances I can speak almost any language, but not the common language. I’m happy to see that you can understand me.” I told him as I smiled under my mask.

“It seems we are the only ones able to speak on this tongue so we can have a private conversation.” I told him.

“It seems that way. Haah… I wanna leave this place and have a nice cold one…” He said making me giggle.

“We’re not done yet, we got two more to do. I’d like to deal with this curse disease as quickly as possible.” I told him.

“You’re quite a nice person, Aria.” He said making me raise brow.

“Hm? Well it’s not that I’m being nice it’s just that this curse was casted out of hatred from what I can remember.” I told him.

“I see… I’m starting to have rude thoughts of making them owe me for this.” He said making me face palm.

‘This idiot…’ I thought rembering just how fearful and nervous he was earlier.

“…I’m sure they’ll reward you well, so let’s finish up, we don’t have eternity.” I told him as he nodded and began to do the 2nd one.

While this was happening I heard some noise coming from upstairs making me pause in my spot.

‘Hm… I’ll reframe from using Sakai for now… but if needed I won’t hold back.’ I thought.

-Time Skip-

“Phew… I’m done now! It’s a relief nothing went wrong.” Hazal said as he held the two bottles in one hand making me sweat drop.

‘Please hold them with two hands like Moris…’ I thought as I saw the two bottles dangle from his fingers.

“Aria! Hazal!” Moris shouted out as he came into the basement abruptly scaring Hazal as he threw the bottles up in the air.

‘You dumbass!!!’ I thought as I immediately jumped up and caught one of the bottles.

‘Sakai: Search!‘ I casted as I then found the second one and extended my palm in it’s direction.

Making it stop midair with a small purple glow surrounding it.

I gave a small sigh in relief as I made the bottle come to me.

“W-Well done!” Hazal said as I turned towards him with a glare.

‘I’ll get you later for this, you idiot.’ I thought as I placed both bottles carefully on the table.

[Moris, What’s wrong? Why are you panicking?] I questioned him.

“Um… Hazal, you mentioned earlier you could make one more potion if you make some changes did you not?” Moris said making me narrow my eyes.

‘So something did happen upstairs.’ I thought.

[Moris, what happened to the ambrosia?] I asked him.

–Small Time Skip-

‘This sweet scent is strong…’ I thought as my heightened senses was getting a full whiff of the ambrosia.

“This is… the smell of ambrosia?” Hazal questioned as I laid my eyes on Patrick sitting in the ground with a badly bleeding arm..

“Oh, Aria and Hazal.” Patrick said greeting us as I stared at his arm.

[What happened to you? How did you get injured?] I asked.

“It happened when Moris brought the ambrosia. I thought I could finally free my wife from her suffering and thus went to administering it…” He trailed as he then explained how his wife attacked him when the Ambrosia got close.

“…It was nothing like the precious attacks. It took myself and several guards to restrain the madam as she resisted with abnormal strength. After we moved her to another room, she lost consciousness.” Moris explained.

“That probably wasn’t an attack… It was most likely something added to the curse disease to prevent medication from being administered. A final obstacle to prevent the curse from being lifted in the form of an attack when ambrosia is nearby…. It’s possible with a level 8 curse disease.”Hazal explained as I just stayed silent when suddenly a screen popped up infront of me.

‘You didn’t need to entice me, I was already going to do it.’ I thought.

[Patrick, Could you show me your wife. I’ll restrain her so that you can give her the cure. Hazal go make another potion from what’s left over.] I told him..

“O-okay.” He responded.

“Aria, there’s no way you can do it! Moris and the guards struggled to hold her back together!” He told me as I looked towards him.

I simply held my hand out towards him while releasing some of my aura.

Leaving him in shock as I discreetly healed his arm wrapped in bandages.

“I’m sure she’ll be fine.” Hazal told him.

“B-But I understand that she’s level 900 hundred, but…” Patrick trailed.

“She seems like the type with no experience or skill? I thought that too along with some others, but all the Ruby Eyes that we’re so critical to make this ambrosia. They we’re all killed by her with a single shot each.” Hazal told him.

‘Now let’s see what I’m going to be dealing with.’
