Looking back at 2022, I can’t believe I’ve been a fan of these two since day one. Alongside Rose & Rosie, they were among the first people who made me feel seen and helped the baby gay in me realize that it’s okay to love the way I do.

Through EngLot, I’ve laughed, cried, celebrated, and endured the highs and lows right alongside the fandom. Day One EngLot fans know exactly the journey I’m talking about. I’ve never been an obsessed fan—just someone who genuinely admires two people whose story has inspired me and whose growth has been incredible to witness.

Whatever they are today, I’ll always support them. Their connection, in whatever form it takes, has been infectious, inspiring, and unforgettable.

As a writer, it only feels right to create an EngLot fanfiction.
