Chapter 3

Lisa swore she was dating the most adorable menace alive.

It started on a quiet afternoon. The dorm was peaceful—too peaceful—until a dramatic groan echoed from the couch.

“Liiisaaaa…”

Lisa glanced up from her phone to see Jennie Kim sprawled dramatically, one arm dangling off the couch like she’d just lost all will to live.

“What now?” Lisa asked, already smiling.

“I’m bored.” Jennie pouted, lips pushed out just enough to be dangerously effective. “Entertain me.”

Lisa raised a brow. “You’re a grown adult.”

Jennie gasped. “Excuse you? I’m your girlfriend.”

“That doesn’t make you less of an adult.”

“It means you have responsibilities.”

Lisa snorted. “Responsibilities?”

“Yes,” Jennie nodded seriously. “Like keeping me happy.”

Lisa set her phone down with a sigh, walking over. “And how do I do that, Your Highness?”

Jennie perked up immediately, pointing at the kitchen. “Snacks.”

Lisa stared at her for a second. “You could get them yourself.”

Jennie flopped back dramatically again. “But I’m weak…”

“You were just fine five seconds ago.”

“I’m weak emotionally.”

Lisa couldn’t help but laugh. “You’re unbelievable.”

Still, she walked to the kitchen anyway.

From the couch, Jennie peeked over the armrest, watching her with a small, satisfied smile. “And bring chocolate!”

“You’re pushing your luck!” Lisa called back.

“Love you!” Jennie shot back instantly.

Lisa paused mid-step, rolling her eyes with a grin. “Yeah, yeah.”

A few minutes later, Lisa returned with snacks—chips, chocolate, and a drink. Before she could even sit down, Jennie grabbed her sleeve.

“Wait.”

“What?”

“You have to feed me.”

Lisa blinked. “Absolutely not.”

Jennie tightened her grip, looking up at her with wide, pleading eyes. “Please?”

“No.”

“Please?”

“No.”

“Pleaseee?”

Lisa sighed deeply, already losing the battle. “You’re so annoying.”

Jennie beamed. “But you love me.”
“…Unfortunately.”

Jennie opened her mouth expectantly.

Lisa stared at her for a second, then slowly lifted a piece of chocolate. “You’re lucky you’re cute.”

“I know.”

Lisa fed her, and Jennie hummed happily, leaning against her shoulder like a content cat.

For a moment, things were quiet.

Too quiet.

Then—

“I’m still bored.”

Lisa groaned. “You just got snacks!”

Jennie turned to her, eyes sparkling. “Let’s play a game.”

“What kind of game?”

Jennie grinned mischievously. “You have to do whatever I say for ten minutes.”

Lisa immediately shook her head. “Nope. Absolutely not.”

“Scared?”

Lisa narrowed her eyes. “I’m not scared.”

“Then prove it.”

Lisa hesitated.

Jennie smirked. “See? You’re scared.”

“…Fine,” Lisa muttered. “Ten minutes. That’s it.”

Jennie clapped excitedly. “Yay!”

Lisa already regretted everything.

“Okay,” Jennie said, tapping her chin like she was planning something evil. “First—hug me.”

Lisa blinked. “That’s it?”

Jennie nodded innocently.

Lisa leaned in and wrapped her arms around her.

Jennie immediately snuggled closer, resting her head against Lisa’s chest. “Mmm… comfy.”

Lisa softened instantly, her arms tightening just a little.

“…You’re cheating,” she murmured.

“Nope. Next instruction.”

Lisa sighed. “What now?”

Jennie looked up at her with a grin. “Say I’m the cutest girlfriend ever.”

Lisa scoffed. “That’s not happening.”

“Rules are rules.”

Lisa groaned dramatically. “This is a scam.”

“Say it.”

“…No.”

Jennie crossed her arms. “Then I’ll stop hugging you.”

Lisa froze.

Jennie slowly started to pull away.

“…Fine!” Lisa huffed. “You’re the cutest girlfriend ever.”

Jennie immediately melted back into her arms, smiling proudly. “I know.”

Lisa looked down at her, completely helpless. “You’re impossible.”

Jennie tilted her head up, eyes soft now instead of mischievous. “But you love me anyway, right?”

Lisa’s expression softened.

“…Yeah,” she said quietly, brushing a strand of hair from Jennie’s face. “I really do.”

Jennie smiled—gentler this time—and poked her cheek. “Good. Because I’m not changing.”

“I figured.”

Jennie grinned again, the childish spark returning. “Okay, last instruction.”

Lisa braced herself. “What?”

Jennie leaned closer, whispering like it was a big secret—

“Kiss me.”

Lisa blinked.

“…That’s your big plan?”

Jennie nodded, trying (and failing) to look serious.

Lisa shook her head, smiling before leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to her lips.

When they pulled away, Jennie looked way too pleased with herself.

“Best game ever,” she declared.

Lisa laughed, pulling her closer. “You’re such a kid.”

Jennie snuggled into her, completely content. “Yeah… but I’m your kid.”

Lisa paused.

“…That sounded weird.”

Jennie burst into laughter.

Lisa groaned. “I’m dating a menace.”

“And you love it.”

Lisa smiled, pressing another quick kiss to her forehead.

“…Yeah,” she admitted. “I really do.”
